No, you misunderstood. I'm using the undubbed version of Disgaea. Meaning, the game id will be different from the one Narin has posted in the cheat.dat. I need to know how to determine what game ID my copy has. Is it a certain program? Once I know the ID, I can modify the cheat.dat to show codes for my game.

thanks for the new update! For Disgaea DS (U) in the "Misc Codes" "shop/item related codes" and "council related codes" folders, the codes should NOT be "select one only" or maybe it is that way but doesn't seem like it to me. Please take a look thanks

Well, after a bit of hunting it down properly on google, I managed to find the game id.

Game ID for the Undubbed version of Disgaea (U): CDGE 5d98ec3a

i would like to ask for a request. can you make a cheat file that only has 1 version each (ex. the cheat file has only us version cheats) since some people only download us versions only.

Narin, once ur done with your cheat file post a link in ur first post of this topic plz

also, put a note in it that people should first TEST their codes (AND testing if they don't need pointer codes)
else we'll prob get an overflow on not working codes

You could easily delete all the other regions using the R4CCE, all you have to do is order the cheats by country then hold the delete key.

Why dont YOU make your own cheat file out of narin's, importing the ones you need and ignoring the rest, like other people do? Guys here already do way too much for free.

that strange, cheat codes work fine with my undubbed version of disgaea(U)

Download cheat.dat, open using r4cce08, delete rom versions you don't want, save as cheat.db (that's right it can't open cheat.db files, but it can save as one), put on microsd.

You could use Cheat Code Editior to find IDs for the actual game. It is fast and sufficient becuase it supplies the country (E, U, J etc.).

The Disgaea codes seem to work fine even with the undub, although the "Press Y HP never decrease, Press Select for one hit kill" code either doesn't work or its utilization is obscure, since the code description is a bit vague. Pressing Y is already used to turn characters around (and other functions), and Select is already used to toggle Geo Panel displays.

Why not have a system where you click and drag the cheats per game title that you'll play and compile a user-made list? I'm only going to play Kirby and Disgaea, so I'll drag the collective cheats for those two games into a single list to place on my flash card for use. I don't really need codes for "Cory in the House".

sure, If u make a prog for it u can put in with tools , but until then, be happy with Narins work

why would you want that anyway, wath does it matter that there are more codes in then the ones you need? (exept for R4 users but they can edit or use the (U/E) version)
