I did search and could find anything.
Just thought i would like people know that i have figured a way, to get your Mario Kart save game which you backed up with savegame extractor to work with downloading the latest data. I decided to do this to help the people who have formatted their Wii and used SaveGame Extractor to back up their Mario Kart Save because i read on the internet that when people go to download the latest data for Mario Kart Channel, they get the message 'Theres a Problem with the Wii System Memory, Wii Connect24 cannot be used'. First make sure you've backed up your save with SaveGame extractor. Which will put the save on your SD card in ?:\WIISAVES\RMCP. ?: = your drive letter, RMCP is the folder for Mario Kart.
1: First make sure you delete the Mario Kart save in the Data Management screen on your wii, if you have one.
2: Load up Mario Kart and it will say Saving blah blah blah, then it will show you the licenses which should all be empty.
3: Create a new license. (i used my mii which i used for my backup save, so i dont know if you can choose any) Edit: You can use any mii you want. Thanks to Hardcore Gamer.
4: When you've created it, it will take to the screen with 1 player, Nintendo WFC etc. Just press home on your remote and go back to the wii menu.
5: Now load up savegame installer using your method of choice (TP Hack, Homebrew Channel etc,) and make sure your savegame you backed up with savegame extractor is in the root of your SD card like this. ?:\WIISAVES\RMCP. ?: = your drive letter, RMCP is the folder for Mario Kart, with these files in it: BANNER.BIN, FILELIST.DAT, RKSYS.DAT, WC24DL.VFF, WC24SCR.VFF
6 When SaveGame installer loads up, make sure the Mario Kart disc is in the drive, and then press RESET, and it will install the save over the new one you just created. When it done installing press the POWER button to return to the Wii System Menu/Health and Safety Warning Screen.
Now when you go into the Mario Kart Channel to get the latest data it should do it.
Hope this helps some people. BTW i only did this to help people out with their original data, not people cheating, by wanting to download someone elses so they can get 100%, which i think really takes the fun out of the game.
