No, they just wanted to say:
We are innocent, it's a product BLABLABLA!
This is what I got from Nintendo after I sent them homebrew question (partially, somethings forgot)

Hello

Homebrew is not licensed (LOL) and can cause damage to your wii. Releasing 3.3 update we wanted to stop unathourized disc modifications (trucha, I know it) and an unathourized savegame modifications. Both these can do an damage to your wii. We highly recommend you to update, because you can protect your wii from damage. Also, 3.3 gives other cool upgrades to wii system menu (I lol'd so much at this point

This is the most stupidest anwer he could think. He knows AND HE LIES. You should tell him that. You should tell him that you know what is trucha bug. That's what I sent to this message as reply [something like that]

Dear Nintendo (

If you're trying to fool me, I let you know I'm not that stupid. A lot of people: Wani, Team Zelda (yeah I changed their names just to be sure, they aren't these, I forgot the original ones) worked hard to exploit an hole in your system code. If you think that patching it will stop it, you are just idiot (really I sent that). I let you know: you made another twenty mistakes in your code, each one is exploitable, and one of them will let us run games from SD card (TAKE THAT! Search for bugs for death!)

And I let you know also: If you are trying to do 3.4 update, add something good, 'cause no one cares about fricking Mii Parade. I also want to know: Why you are doing this? Team Zelda member (Just to scare them).

That's what I get:

QUOTEWe are unable to answer your question. Call *insert number there* to get an helpful information from our representative

I know that they know I'm joking and so, but they wasted their time to read this.

Pretty shocking spelling, especially for someone who is suppose to be providing customer service.

BWAHAHA! man these are some of the funniest e-mail responses EVER!
AvEnGeR-X, this was a really good idea. its nice to see how 'big name companies' react to this stuff.
No, but seriously, Flashcarts and Modchips cost these companies alot of money.
Take for example an R4, its a 40 or so dollar thing that cost Nintendo THOUSANDS! So, moral of the story, KEEP ON BUYING THEM!

Yet again, Good job man! look foreward to future replies from Nintendo!

I dunno, I was asking about space (I have pretty much of bought VC games) and SD card copying, also I asked if there is another way to store games. The answer was no, you cannot use the USB drives, USB mass storage devices and then normal thank you for e-mail blablabla

But I remember this teh! It is just to show they don't type that carefully

Freeloader may not be licensed, but it does nothing of harm, or anything illegal. Why release an update to block it? Innocent people like me, just use it to play import games, you don't lose money over it.

So why would you release an update to block it, if it has already been working? And why not, in the update screen, tell it renders Freeloader useless?

You should have mentioned in your response that in Australia, region locking is considered restriction of trade, and actively taking measure to ensure this restriction is upheld is something that the ACCC would look very negitively upon.

While an idle threat, it would be interesting to see how they react. If they do reply and mention anything about the freeloader leading to piracy, point out that because of the regioning, modchips for the Wii are legal here and they actually do enable piracy.

The only good wii system menu update that i can think of was the inclusion of the clock on the main screen (the wii had a clock but i always thought it was gay because you could never actually use it).

Maybe an update to WiiWare, but it don't make anything to system it only adds a support for it. 3.3 adds something! you have cool thing added: Killer app:MII PARADE

let's hope that 3.4 will stop patching holes AND it will add something. Like...AUTODESTRUCTION
warningsf8.jpg

or cool things like that

about the freeloader isn't doing any damage?

I think it's Nintendo's dumb fault for making the wii not region free =.=
Now we can't play the newest Naruto and Bleach.
We have to wait for like 2 years, and get the dumb European version with dumb voices...

Good point. I'm not necessary trying to waste their time, but curious of their teams pre-made responses.

No they have not replied yet, I will edit the topic's first post when that happens and re post here to notify.

What was the point of emailing nintendo about the freeloader? Who cares what they reply back. Stop wasting people's time.

Why are you so mad :S. I did it to 'experiment' the responses of the big shot company nintendo. and how the hell am I wasting peoples time? If it's nintendo's time your talking about, then good!. Less time for them to make their move in the homebrew patching war...
But if your talking about people in the forums time, then they can just not read the post, jeez

.
Btw, no one really 'does' care what they say. It's just interesting and funny to laugh at
