Hi,

I am looking for a modded PSP and got 2 offers and i am not sure which offer i should choose. I have no problem paying the price if its resonable price but because i have no clue ..... i would like to know.

1st offer i got :

Modded PSP (wifi switch broken and in Off position)
2x 1GB Memory
2x 256MB Memory
wrist strap
soft case
little remote
full sets of NES, GB/C, Sega Megadrive/Genesis, and PC Engine ROMs
Games :
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, Sid Meyer's Pirates!, Wipeout Pure, Final Fantasy 1 (in Japanese, but all English text),
Powerstone Collection, DJ Max Portable (in Japanese), IQ Mania (also in Japanese), and GTA: Vice City Stories

255$ ~ 170 €

2nd offer i got:

Modded PSP
1x 4GB Memory

125€

Second offer would be less money than first one but first has more stuff.
Wifi is not that important for me so that wouldn't be that much of a minus at first offer.
I am not sure which offer i should take ... 2nd would be better because bigger memory but still i think 1GB is big enough for most games right ?

I wouldn't pay a huge premium for a pre-modded system as the latest mods are fairly easy. For reference, I recently bought a modded fat psp in great shape with a 1GB card for $95. If these are your only options though, I guess it depends on how you value the games with the first bundle.

I will recommend the 2nd option. Its cheaper, comes with 4GB memory stick and it ain't broken.
1GB wont be sufficient to be honest.
You can always d/l ISO and emulators. Google is your best friend

If you go with the first option you're crazy. I'd go with the second one or just buy a PSP and get someone you know to mod it, or mod it yourself (Only 10 dollars extra).

With the second option you're basically buying a modded PSP (Used takes away from price, but let's just SAY that being used pays in turn with being modded) so it's $169
Add in the 4GB card which is around 50 bucks and you've got $230

Since you're paying $193 for this option you are winning.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE ALSO BUYING THE RECEIPT AND THAT IT IS WELL WITHIN THE 1 YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY!!

The "fake" ones are going to be incompatible with magicgate and not support CFW plugins very well because they have horrible xfer rates. DAX's new CFW helps with the plugins, but still not fast enough.

original ? are there fakes floating around or what ?

Try this website, there are picture as well.
Another method is check from your psp itself. It will show either is magic gate supported or not. I forgot how to check it. Maybe someone here can give you the instructions.
