What was question 11, again?

Which Wii title stirred up a large amount of international controversy?

- Bully: Scholarship Edition
- Manhunt 2
- No More Heroes
- Resident Evil 4
- All of the above

The CORRECT answer (that we chose) was Manhunt 2.

The answer had to be Manhunt 2 ( must be ok to talk about it now the comps closed ). The other titles didn't have any controversy on the WII itself, which the question says WII specifically, it was on the other platforms they were on first that caused the contraversy by the time they got to the WII it had mostly blown over, the only WII one was manhunt 2 as that was banned on that platform. As for no more heroes, I didnt even see a column inch for that in the papers so it cant have been that either.

I don't see how it could be anything else. I don't recall any other games being forced to tame down to get an M rating in America or being banned from Europe all together.
I agree. and...honestly, I think that the people that got it right will feel cheated somehow if they dont get picked because more people got 'everything' right.

While thats true, it wasn't really international controversy. Bully was another Jack Thompson bitch-fest. It was only really under observation in the US.
Manhunt 2 for the Wii was getting shit on all over the world lol.

I think GBAtemp has the right to change whatever they want to whenever they want to. They're giving away cards for FREE to people for clicking 25 little circles. They an say "Fuck the quiz, now we want to see who can type 'i love gbatemp' with their nose the quickest!"

But thats just me.

PS: io l;ovt gfbast5em,p ... do i win?

for answering the quiz correctly. so people that got them all right including question 11 will probably feel that way if they lose, and I can understand that. as for gbatemp doing THAT...it'd be more likely for you to get hit by a car..seriously.

I didn't like questions 11 either. I did pick Manhunt 2 because I knew that was the answer that was "most obvious". However, if you look at the answers again, another game that got international controversy was No More Heroes. Not with the media, like Manhunt 2, but with the gamers who were pissed at the censorship ordeal that was being put in place for Europe and Japan.

Well, Bully stirred up a lot of controversy about supporting bullying... No more heroes got a little controversy and no blood in europe.. manhunt 2 obviously... but resident evil 4 didn't get any.... SO:
I went fore All of the above, since 3 of 4 stirred up controversy... I think a deletion of that question was good if the correct was manhunt 2, since the others also stirred up some, even though it wasn't at all that much...

Yeah, Manhunt 2 was obvious. Bully had a little controversy but not international. Resident Evil 4 and No More Heroes are both violent but not controversial. I knew RE4 couldn't be right because it was a zombie survival horror game, you don't actually kill people so it can't be controversial.

Well, more competition for me.

Edit: People are saying NMH had lots of international controversy, but I couldn't find anything on it. Link?

And another thing, RE4 was released for the Gamecube first, and then the PS2. Neither had much controversy to it, so why would the re-release on the Wii have it? Once you eliminated RE4, Manhunt 2 stuck out like a zit. Although I had to search if it was really released on the Wii because I didn't believe it at first.

I chose all of the above because I knew manhunt was correct and I also saw no more heroes as having a controversy due to the censorship in non-US countries. And with all my experience with multiple choice tests, if two are correct, then all of the above must be true. Thank you for taking out that question.

The blood was censored in Europe, which some people may see as controversy. But it wasn't in the mainstream news as much as Manhunt was.
