I have a question, if i use the us save on the japanese game, will it read it?
Depends on the game, some games it works with little to no modifications while others, its impossible.

As I said, it depends on the game, You'll have to try it and see if it works or not for Drone Tactics.

codes for the (J) version
Eh, they don't really help much due to the Japanese and USA release having different memory addresses. Anyways, anyone with any knowledge of Japanese willing to translate these codes for me so I can add them to the database? I rather not use Babelfish, google translate, ect because they always get shotty translations for game code descriptions.

Its not necessary to translate the modifier list at the bottom.

heres a rough translation.

These codes were taken from the link dsrules gave: http://charabox.2.pro.tok2.com/CoPaDS/codes/AWCJN0_P.html
Heres a nifty Japanese online dictionary for those who are interested: http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/wwwjdic.html

Also, Narin, cards are obtained either by defeating enemies (so it seems), finding them in capsuleZs, or by 'mixing' cards in a specific recipe.

okay, hope this helps

Thanks for the effort you put into updating these cheat files, Narin!

I'd be more than willing to help, but considering the frequency with which you update and the sheer number of codes per game, a manual translation of each code would require a lot of work for just one person.

Actually, I had a suggestion. I was wondering if you could just keep the code descriptions for Japanese games in Japanese without translating them. If a lot of people object to this, then would it be possible to create two versions of cheat files, one with the original Japanese text and another with the translated codes, then upload both of them? The only reason I ask is because some Babelfish/Google translations are so bad that no more useful than the original Japanese anyway.

The Japanese character set (Kanji) would end up showing up as question marks in the cheat database hence why I needed them in ASCII

Thanks for the quick reply!

That's because some people use the English firmware system files for their flash cart. I have the Japanese M3 Real, which will only run the Japanese firmware.

I also imagine that with M3 Sakura around the corner (which has full support for Japanese text), M3 Real users will be making the switchover and there will be no more ????'s showing up where Japanese characters should be.

Its do to some firmwares not supporting the character set as well as the cheat database editor that I use not supporting them as well, so editing or saving the cheat database will end up saving them as question marks,

Yea, its basicly beyond my control at this point :/ Its also the reason why some of the japanese games have question marks where the cheats names should be.

Yo, Narin I just remembered something, would it be possible to subtract the value from the U.S> max ore and Japanese max ore code and get the difference? Than use that difference and apply it to the U.S. games?
