Misc Australian Mario Kart Wii Friend Codes: Future League

Exactly same as me. I versed a guy in a Grand Prix from WP and I beat him 4-0 but it was a good battle. I then decided wait today is official release day for Australia. So jumped on Continental race 5 people. All on 5000 and Im like ok can snag a few points here. Won the next 2-3 races. Then 12 people jumped on and it was Rainbow Road. LOL Swear went the whole track without falling off once and I finished the race without second race even getting close to going into that section with those two circles. Yeh and then won a few more. Got from 7100 to about 7800 I think.

HAHA one of the funniest races ever been in. Vertabray and myself in a continental race on Rainbow Road. I coming first he behind me with someone else. ANd the rest of 12 racers all way behind. Then on 3 d lap 9 people just went off (disconnected) at once. IM LIKE WHAT!!. Myself and two other people in the race. I won. I then went to check how much points i got. +39 now 8000! And then look at the bottom, Vertabray -213 LOL!!!

Now thats is strange!! In my race it looked like you DCed and you lost -173 with me coming first!! WTF!!! HAX! LOL!!

Hope thats not a sign of things to come in our first league match dan. I just couldnt catch you in those few races, we left everyone else behind though

Don't worry Muss, it goes that way. You couldn't get near me in the first 4 races we had the other day, but then you won the next 3 races, so it can go either way. I've had some games where i've killed Bray, and he's done the same to me, and we've had plenty of close ones too.

Sometimes a stray Banana can turn a favourite course into a race of mistake after mistake lol.

@Bray and Boxhunter, yeh, if everyone gets DCed, (happened to me once with a mate in a game) then you will be shown as the winner on your console and gain points, while everyone else will lose points. That's a rare error though, from Nintendo's side of things it would seem.

The race it happened to me in, i got into the cave on Sherbet Land and got DCed and gained 60 points for the win....so did my mate lol.

@Muss, who knows man, we were both racing pretty well today, i just got some luck breaks i think, and then disconnected !

I've had a few d/c now, a couple after the race had finished, and 1 during a race today, both costing me a couple of hundred points. sigh. I'm with iinet, i've just switched my speed profile over to 'gamer', i was on 'thrillseeker', see if that makes any difference.

Well, as soon as you get your Wii, and get Mario Kart Wii man, get us your friend code, and i'll set you up as both a substitute for the 1v1 (bound to have some people drop out) and as a regular for the tournaments.

The first official tournament game was just held, and i have updated the fixture to reflect this.

Chaazziiee and Vertabray tied for the win, while iPANIC came in third. ronnieboy wasn't to be seen, but we think this is due to friend code mishap or not having registered the right players etc.

So what happens if u were unable to get a match up with the person you're suppose to race against in the due time ?

Well, for each week, you got 2 opponents, and given a GP only takes 10-12 mins, i'm hoping it isn't that hard for 2 opponents to agree on a time that suits them for the week.

If players agree on a time, they should go into the fixture topic, and report the time they've agreed upon. Then, if a player doesn't show up to a game they said they would make, and haven't contacted their opponent to ask for a different time, they'd gain no points.

If neither player could play that week (rare unless someone goes on holiday) then neither player would gain points.

But, i think with 7 days, finding a time to suit can't be that hard.

I have also come into possession incontrovertible evidence that Luigi Circuit is cursed, and therefore is unsafe to choose in a WFC match. I have provided this evidence to Nintendo and in the wake of an impending game recall they have asked me to spread the word - DON'T CHOOSE LUIGI CIRCUIT! It dramatically elevates your blood pressure and blood sugar levels in addition to LDL cholesterol. Left untreated, irreversible heart and liver damage will result.
