I heard it was mainly BPP with a mix of the other two in any amount.Szyslak said:BTW, just got a visit from my first 3 Aliens last night. Playmate Beam here I come. This evolution system is really growing on me.
[Edit] Mostly MPP didn't evolve my Sexy Beam to a Playmate Beam. Damn.

Fixed that for you.Ruri said:When evolving pins, remember that (starting with an empty bar) you do not need to fill a bar 50% with SDPP or MPP to level it up. In fact, a little over 10% will suffice, as long as you're careful not to put any meaningful amount of SDPP in an MPP-evolving pin (or vice-versa).
This is because MPP and SDPP count nine times as much as BPP for deciding evolutions. When the bar is empty, it will not account for this; but as you fill it up with both (say) MPP and BPP, you'll see the effect. If you fill a bar 20% with MPP and then go out and do the rest via BPP, say, that 20% will rapidly increase until it's filled most of the bar, because comparing it to low-impact BPP will make it worth more in the final calculation.
Or, a better way to describe it:
Say you have a pin that requires 1000 PP to master, and evolves when dominated by MPP.
If you put 200 MPP in it, the 'colored bar' will appear 20% filled with red MPP. Simple enough.
If you then put 800 BPP in it, though, the pin will evolve, since that 200 MPP is actually worth a nine times as much for determining what dominates in evolution -- a whopping 1800 to your 800 BPP.
And as you slowly fill up the bar, it will change to reflect this, with the initial 20% MPP area constantly growing even though you're just adding BPP; just before it's mastered, say, the colored bar will correctly show a ratio of 1800 MPP to (just under) 800 BPP, with MPP clearly dominating.
Hope that helps. Before I realized how the colored bar worked, I was wasting much more time accumulating MPP or SDPP than was necessary -- even a small amount of either (anything over 10% of an otherwise empty bar) is enough to ensure evolution as long as you're careful to fill the rest with BPP.That was an excellent explanation. Thanks for writing that up.I've been having an issue figuring out how/when the 9x multiplier is reflected in the bar, and I think you just cleared it up for me.
deathfisaroI think I can keep playing TWEWY until FFIV DS (U) comes out.
The pin wiki has moved again, apparently:deathfisaro said:The host had a problem with CPU usage, use this for the time being

Oh..Well it seems that 152 is way more useful, what would you recommend?evileric said:^ Mastered, 152 'One Stroke, Vast Wealth' has an Attack of 89, 6 Uses, Instant boot and 6.0sec Reboot.
Compared to 153 'One Grain, Infinite Promises' Attack of 101, 1 Use, Instant Boot and 3.0sec Reboot. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.
How do I get "Big Bang"?Orc said:No. 207 Big Bang must also be equipped for it (them) to boot. To use it just hold down anywhere to unleash a Kamehameha (lol).zeppo said:Can someone please tell me what badge number 208, "Big Crunch" does?
There other Gatito badges that need to be worn as sets for them to boot too.
EDIT: Quoted 'zeppo'
Go with the Innocent Beam. As you said, you'll get the Playmate Beam anyway, and the evolution of the Playmate Beam is still up in the air as far as I can tell. Mostly MPP definitely didn't work.azotyp said:I have a question I bought a pint that in battle it shows ? and It says in description that it has no power, and something about ray of light, and in statistics there is a phrse nexus ray. Anybody knows what that pin can do and how to use it ?What number pin is it? It sounds like one of the Gatito pins that need to be equipped as sets in order to work. If you bought it from Ramen Don, it's probably either Big Bang or Big Crunch, and they both have to be equipped in order to work, as discussed above.
QUOTE(Serabii @ Apr 24 2008, 08:00 AM) guys I gotta question...
I've been reading on the wiki that (026) Playmate Beam is good obviously it has a attack of 86 but the recovery speed is 10.0 sec. There is another evolution where as if you evolve from (023) lovely beam >MPP (025) Superfine beam >BPP (027) Innocent Beam (atk 72, recovery 6.0sec)
now my question is
what is your suggested pin to evolve Playmate beam or Innocent Beam?
I think you can get playmate beam on week 3 day 4
