@Stakindoe
You need more Data.zip files -- data_2.zip, data_3.zip and data_4.zip.
Where can I find those?

Hello gentlemen,

I am really inspired by Vita community and they offer bounties. I am also insane and saved up some lil money so I want to give back to community. Already supporting some stuff so we can all gain from it but I thought HOS deserves some love too.

Important note: if you wish to add to these yourself (money or ports), tag me in reply and I will add to it.

(more that could be possible? - OpenGOAL, Command and Conquer games?)

∗ported means:

-running on latest CFW 21

-basic features without crashing (saving, loading, options available and working)

-playable FPS (not dropping below 30FPS - some exceptions can apply if its not single digits and so on) and reasonable graphics, in case of emulators non trivial 3D game should run at about 30 fps (eg Auto Modellista for PS2 is quite low demanding)

-make it open-source

-physical buttons

-you send me the prototype (preferably discord) or offer it for others too, if deemed appropriate as above, I will pay you out

This is not paying for anything illegal as well as its not paying not for development. If the port gets released, as an appreciation I voluntarily donate to the link person provides.

I am sure there could be lot of resources and useful links, please provide them if you can. Also please delete if I breached any rule or its considered inappropriate in community.
will offer a £50 bounty for MARC ECKŌ GETTING UP if anyone is able to port it also

Where can I find those?

Dont post videos of playthroughs of the game but post link to github of open source/decompilation etc of the game/engine. If it does not have that, please refrain from posting here as its not point of this initiative.

There currently isn't any decompilation of the game, it was built in Slayer engine

Then the point still stands. If you want to play the game on Switch no matter what, just play in in Linux it will work fine. But not suitable for this initiative unless decompilation/reverse engineering happens.

Why are you being salty??? I was happy to support bounties for this, but you're being unnecessarily rude.

I guess I'd be OK with throwing away a bit of $$ to encourage a 'classic' Doom port. Just need clarification on where\how to send the actual coinage, as I'm unable to figure it out from the OP.

I'm aware of the (probably abandoned) GZDoom port by fgsfds. That one has a (IMO) fatal flaw of taking awhile to load a mod setup (due to the JIT-related issue that they could not have anticipated).

If there's interest, I'll go into more detail i.e. recommended port to base this potential fork on and my personal functionality preferences.

Its not personal.

j2me - java emulator on the switch would be nice!
You can just shoot an amount and possibly link to it and I can put it in OP.

Ye well I figure as I go. I happen to be in discord server of the dev so I asked him - he sent ko-fi I obliged. My guess is paypal or any platform allowing one-time payment is fine.

As for your suggestion, I would be up for it (but can put only little since I already back all those above). Also, just say the amount and link to github and I can put it in OP.

Cool. I'll start with 20 USD to demonstrate i'm serious, for which I need to be provided with the relevant person's donation link thingy (if such has been provided already, then I apologize for being at least a little bit dense.)

As for the specs of my actual bounty thingy, any 'modern' Boom-compatible (a term that probably won't make sense if you're not a classic Doom enthuiast) port that's 'mature' or 'feature-complete' as far as (single player) functionality goes i.e. dsda-doom/woof/prboom-plus/etc, for the base.

The bit that's most important to me (after the obvious stuff is covered), is a frontend\GUI thingy for easy loading of PWADs and DEHs and such. Finally, being able to go at least one folder 'deep' (for lack of a better term) for better collection organization would also be pretty sweet.

Whether or not anything comes of this, thanks for indulging me, at least ;)

Isn't there a prboom core in retroarch?
