Hey guys I have a d2c will with a d2ckey wii clip combo purchased from ozmodchips after installing i tried smb galaxy original game loaded just fine played around with it for a bit with some burnt games then came back to an original and now its a no go will not boot any original games tried 5 different original from wii sports to ssbb still nothing seems like all this happened after playing mario kart
damn fast reply oz was about to message you through your store front about to crash got work in the early am but ill set tight for a couple btw oz great shipping time and service through your store just wish I could figure wtf going on here it makes no sense ive pulled the clip back out and it boots regular games fine without it

k oz thanks your great guy i will check up in the morning then maybe we can get this thing figured out i tried digging around on the net and messing with it for awhile first but to no avail if it helps any when i start it up on an original with the chip in the blue light flickers for a brief moment maybe half second then goes back out right before disc stops spinning total spin up time is maybe 5 seconds if that
Well got the bright idea earlier that maybe if I format my wii system memory just maybe my original games would work, why the hell I thought that? Shit who knows. Well guess what it didnt wotk now I have lost all my save data for the games the assholes at nintendo will not let you backup saves from like all my characters I unlocked on ssbb when I could play it now gotta get some more dl and back it up so I can do it all over again.
well still no luck here and just tried a pal game and even though the ntscu jumper is soldered on the d2ckey jp1 it would not load the pal disc original or backup without patching the backup on the pc or using freeloader why does this post feel like a one sided convo anyone else care to chime in with some thoughts or maybe a little help
well cleaned all contacts between the chip and the clip still nothing heres the light pattern when inserting an original game red light comes on disc spins up blue light flickers for split second red light stays on anybody got any clue

wii sport(original) All backups work fine. I noticed that if I first load the backup or SMG and get to the start screen, then eject the backup and insert the
original, the original works. Same for wii sport. It must have something to do with the initial authentication that the chip does when you first insert the original
game. The d2ckey somehow does not initially accept originals. Seems very strange. Any answers?

Faulty chips.
It might just be broken chips, that you need to exchange it.
Things can break unforunatlly (shit, I can't spell today).
Since this:
Backups work = Chip must work with the inoffical dvds
Originals do not work = Chip do not do its just by ignoring the dvd as it suppose to do
My best bet guys are to exchange the chip, it the worst, also exchange the clip!
