i'd say go for DSTT though. not only it's cheaper, it's also faster in loading games.
the downside is the default menu for DSTT, though YSMENU makes an R4-esqe menu if you don't like the default one.

Diablo1123 said:I ordered a DSTT yesterday at DealExtremes at a good price of around $30 plus 12 $ for 2 GB MicroSD card.
When do you guys think I can expect it?
fair call. i'd basically say the same.Bri said:Consider the Acekard2, Edge, or DSTT over the M3 DS Real. There is a new menu system called Sakura that is under development for the M3 DS Real that might change the equation, but who knows when it might be out. Until then, any of the other carts listed above are better than the M3 DS Real.

hyun said:It's gonna take a long time for M3 Sakura and Dstt can play FFCC ...
Most games don't even support rumble..lenselijer said:yes it can, but it needed a fix, m3 real was working without having to release a new update.
anyway i think m3 real wins because it has slowmotion mode and a free rumble pack, but both cards are pretty equal in quality/function.
Bri said:Personally, I think the DSTT team has had plenty of time to have fixed the sorting issue, not to mention hardware problems with some of the carts.
Sorting issue is annoying, yes, and they should do something about it. I suspect the h/w problems are probably something that have mostly been sorted out by now, though - with the possible exception of shimmable contact problems experienced in some DS consoles, and with a glued-together cartridge that's not an easy problem to fix permanently. Personally, I think that if they're going to stick with the epoxy-blob construction they could probably get away with using a slightly thicker PCB and that would make a whole lot of contact problems go away.
BriThe Acekard 2 might be better than both of them.
Bri said:I wonder if the AK2 can be glued together, and if that would give it any extra strength. Is the plastic significantly thinner / more flexible than other carts, or is it just the clips that allow it to flex more?
