This is what the game looks like with a Texture Mod + Graphic Mod + Mod that adds Beards + OverClock

The Graphic and Texture Mod is from the Russian forum 4TDA.TO and the Beard Mod is from NexusMOD

The screenshots were taken from a Switch Lite (720p)

Can the NSwitch Lite use the Mariko mod? How about its performance?

Yes, the performance is good, as long as you overclock it!The good thing is that they released 4 different versions of the graphics mod and there is one that takes the game to a more or less stable 45fps by changing the Antialiasing from TAA to FXAA and lowering the shadow resolution among other optimizations.
With that mod you can play on the Switch Lite without Overclocking and the game runs at 30Fps without problems.

Ahh, okeyy. I use Mariko which you think is the highest, tested it on Oled with Max OC. A little Framedrop when opening menu. 24/30FPS. Erista is a bit stable, and 45 FPS is good if you want to save battery 😂 .

Yaa, maybe I will share it here if I have tested it a bit further in this 1.0.4 update, in the last 1.0.3 I experienced texture missing.

I also use the Mariko version to take advantage of the extra performance.
In my case I use the Homebrew SimpleModManager to be able to switch between mods. When I have the Switch connected to the charger I use the full Graphic Mod, when I don't have it connected I use the 45FPS version because otherwise the battery drains very quickly and the fans sweat trying to cool my little Switch. xD

I've also noticed some bugs with areas where the textures are completely black and well, the water is still as horrible as ever. -_-'

Hey ECLIPSE these versions of the graphics mod turned out great. Especially the 45fps one that optimizes the game's performance even without overclocking. Thanks for that!
after I tested it for a while, Mariko is indeed good, CPU: 1785 GPU: 927: MEM: 1600. there are some kind of light/shadow glitches. it seems like it needs to be raised again. for settings like this I recommend using Erista, this is also good.

EXTREME & MEDIUM ( FXAA - SSAO )

Everything is identical to the usual options, except:

* 30 FPS
* FXAA anti-aliasing instead of TAA
* Less image sharpness
* Global dimming is NOT disabled
* Less bloom quality
Certainly, let's break down the key differences between the ECLIPSE00074 settings from Russian Forum, with a special focus on the distinctions between EXTREME, MEDIUM, and the newly added LOW 45 FPS modes.

EXTREME

* Visuals:
* Highest quality anisotropic filtering (4x) for textures.
* Sun rays enabled for added atmospheric effect (might not work everywhere).
* Slightly reduced color temperature for a potentially warmer look.
* Greatest increase in LOD distances for characters, objects, vegetation, and trees.
* Dynamic shadows cast from grass and some bushes for enhanced realism.
* Highest increase in world effects distance.
* Highest increase in object & landscape render distances.
* Highest resolution for cutscene shadows, near shadows, and cached shadows.
* Greatest distance for distant shadows.
* Highest bloom quality.
* Highest increase in character render distance.

* Performance:
* Targets 30 FPS.
* May be more demanding on hardware due to the increased visual settings.

MEDIUM

* Visuals:
* Balanced anisotropic filtering (2x).
* Sun rays disabled.
* Moderate increases in LOD distances, object & landscape distances, and shadow resolutions compared to EXTREME.
* Dynamic shadows from grass and some bushes are not enabled.

* Performance:
* Targets 30 FPS.
* Offers a balance between visual quality and performance.

LOW 45 FPS

* Visuals:
* Same anisotropic filtering as MEDIUM (2x).
* Sun rays disabled.
* Further reductions in LOD distances, object & landscape distances, and shadow resolutions compared to MEDIUM.
* Bloom quality is slightly lower than in MEDIUM.
* Character render distance is increased less than in MEDIUM.

* Performance:
* Targets 45 FPS for smoother gameplay.
* Makes more compromises in visual quality compared to MEDIUM to achieve a higher frame rate.

EXTREME & MEDIUM (FXAA - SSAO)

* Visuals:
* Uses FXAA anti-aliasing for better performance on lower-end hardware.
* Reduced image sharpness for a softer look.
* Global dimming enabled for enhanced contrast and depth.
* Lower bloom quality for improved performance.

* Performance:
* Targets 30 FPS.
* Prioritizes performance over visual quality, suitable for less powerful devices.

Key Takeaways

* EXTREME: Pushes visual quality to the maximum, potentially impacting performance.
* MEDIUM: Offers a balanced compromise between visuals and performance.
* LOW 45 FPS: Prioritizes a higher frame rate with further reductions in visual settings.
* EXTREME & MEDIUM (FXAA - SSAO): Focuses on performance for lower-end hardware, sacrificing some visual fidelity.

Recommendation: Experiment with different settings to find the best balance between visual quality and performance that suits your hardware and preferences.

Let me know if you have any more questions or want to explore specific settings in more detail!

Hi everyone, I've copied the files into the atmosphere/content folder but the graphic mods aren't loading. I've tried both low 45 and extreme, but neither works. I'm on OS 17 with game version 1.0.4. Is any specific step required to load mods?

Crash or stuck?
Have you downloaded the main mod?
Is your switch overclocked?
