The points I mentioned have literaly nothing to do with normal wear.In which case you might as well just say that normal usage of the console has a brick risk, because you're using it and things will wear down
Possible risks connected to flashcarts are low-probability and manageable. But denying downsides is like closing the eyes to make problems disappear.
"Because they want to!"why anyone would keep using outdated tech like carts.
should suffice as an answer once and for all. Nobody has to justify themselves or subordinate themselves to a majority for whatever reason.
All the arguments against Syk3DS+ and the like are well-known and have been repeated so often in this forum that it comes near a religious zeal.
One of the few things I don't like on GBAtemp is how people are treated that disagree with this majority "objective and obvious" truth.

Tolerance and accepting people as they are isn't for everyone. If one disagrees on technological topics, they get mercilessly treated like some kind of moron. It is easy to dismiss my critique and euphemize bad behavior denying the underlying problem. I'm already used to this, but I will not allow this to silence me.
It is up to anybody to decide what they want and what not. It is not my (or anybody else's) job to tell people what they have to prefer if there is more than one way to achieve a goal.
