Not had a chance to play with it yet but a newspost over at romhacking.net says a 2 year project has finally come to fruition with a patch release

Dragon Quest Monsters: Caravan Heart is the third installment in the well known Dragon Quest Monsters series. It’s the only game in the Monsters series that didn’t get an official English localization.

This was the very last game published by Enix before they merged with Square. Follow Prince Kiefer (one of the heroes of Dragon Quest VII) on his quest to help a friend find a cure for his parent’s illness. You’ll travel in a growing Caravan, full of trained guard monsters and a whole bunch of human party members.

* Monster Reformations using the hearts of befriended monsters

Turns out the first two of the series were remakes of the NES games for the Gameboy...

There was no DQM for the NES o_o

Gameboy DQM 1 and 2 were originals!

And yay for Caravan Heart can't wait to play

My bad - got my facts wrong.
The games were original on the GBC (like you said), and later remade on the Playstation.

Had some trouble patching the IPS file using the M3SD software (using latest version; crashes when IPS file is selected)...
I suggest downloading and using Lunar IPS to patch the ROM.

Yet to try the patched ROM on my M3 Lite, hope it works!

Dragon Warrior Monsters

Dragon Warrior Monsters 2: Cobi's Journey / Tara's Adventure (two versions)

Both are for GBC, so get 'em and play on Lameboy!

Rereading your post you said DQ so other DQ/DW's on GBC are:

Dragon Warrior I & II

Dragon Warrior III

What a great translation. I think everyone should read his reflections he wrote up. A lot of insight into the translation world.

Yeah, works fine on my M3 Lite

Yet to really get into the game and not really a Dragon Quest fan, but so far I'm impressed.

Working fine on my EZ Flash II. The caravan thing is a different approach than the usual DQM games, almost seems like a hybrid between DQM and regular DQ games where you have party of characters.

i am trying to get this workling on my bros SCSD. 1.85 firmware i use winips to patch it then used supercard program. did not work. i tried to convert it in supercard then use winips. did not work.
i get white screens before or right after the enix logo. help please

Ive been looking for site rules on here but havent found them.
Anyways I have been playing and decided I mite aswell find the hex values and make some cheats since i doubt any exist on an english site.

wasnt sure if we are allowed to post them and where to post them

Hope this isn't too late. Try using LunarIPS. That's what I used.
