Noob question altert:
From what I've read, the Brawl disc won't read on a Wii with a Wiikey installed.. And since it seems like the WiiKey team is dead, does this mean that I will never be able to play Brawl on my wiikeyed wii?

you can always remove your wiikey or install a switch on it. I recommend the former, and follow with getting a real chip that doesn't constantly piss you off.

I was wondering, is it true that with US Brawl you can save longer match replays to the SD than before ? I've heard that you can save matches as long as you want with US version as long as it's on the SD... True ?

Does SSBB NTSC-U works on jap Mod Wii without doing anything to it?

If not, does SSBB JAP works on JAP mod wii without any problems?

Hi All,

Ok i have 2 copies of ssbb 1 full iso ntsc and 1 which has been brickblocked and run through regionfrii.
I loaded the full iso first and it asked to update which i started.
Turned the wii off at 15% and then put the brick block version in.
The game works bu the screen is a bit at the top and a bit at the bottom.
Has anyone else got this problem and know how to fix it?

Cheers Shane

Set the Wii to 60Hz mode, having previously turned off deflickering in the game ("D" in the options).

You can set D on again once you enter the game, just don't forget to turn it off before leaving.

Tried the dual layer disc on d2pro, produced a white screen after a few settings?

burned with custom layer break doesn't work (white screen), so I will reburn the disc without the custom layer break and verify later.

(possible burner problem?)

Hi there,

I have a retail copy of SSBB-U, and a Wii with DC2. It's working fine, but the "Anyone" mode of online game isn't finding anybody to play with. The message "Seeking..." keep appearing and nothing happens.

Is anybody having the same problem? Or am I having a online issue?

Thx

Nintendo's server gets hammered like crazy because US Brawl was launched not too long ago. Just wait for them to have the server stable again and you'll be fine.

i was under the impression that Nintendo's WFC allows online play via direct connection to another person's Wii...aka no server needed, unless i misread it from somewhere...

can someone help me please!
I'm tired of wasting DL medias!

Ive tried burning it with the layer brake, and without it, and i even tried the jap version!

Just for the record, i have a Wii NTSC-USA 3.2U (updated via wiiware) and a wiikey 1.9g!

And i'm using Verbatim DL+R medias, imgburn, and i've tried 2x and 2.4x

The game loads in the disc channel, i click to play it allways runs, after the load screen if i watch the intro movie it gives me the message "the game disc could not be read. Please read the wii operations manual for more information" on a light green screen, if i skip it sometimes it runs sometimes gives me the error, after a few minutes of playing, or just choosing chars, or loading something it gives me the error again!

If someone could tell me what to do i would be very pleased!!
thx in advance!!

Sadly, I'm having issues with getting the game to run on a Wiikey-ed NTSC-U Wii. I've already wasted two DVD's. The first time, I burned using ImgBurn at 1X and set the correct layer break. Nothing...just error everytime and had to restart. Second time, I got the same error after burning at 2.4X as someone recommended and got the error again. Funny thing was, when I started the Wii back up, it allowed me to run the update and even showed SSBB in the Disc Channel. When I tryed to load the game, it gave me the error again. I'm using Memorex -R DL's. Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Edit: NVM. I figured it out on my third try. I actually had to burn at 4X, without the custom layer break. Funny, other Wiikey users were able or had to use the custom LB. C'est la vie.

Same issue and I resoled it using the Verbatim DVD+R DL RW rather then the regular DVD+R DL media.
Good Luck
