Pride Month begins tomorrow. Considering Target and Bud Light, how do you think the nation will respond this year?

Of course you'd be ignorant of what racist caricatures are and the history of the use aunt and uncle during the slavery days.

Because I really doubt you finished high school
The family of the woman who was the model for Aunt Jemima was pretty upset when she was removed, because everyone in the family was proud of her, and considered it to be an honor.

Only in America would we go against the original people involved with something and act like we know better.

The rate at which and the UK and the west is importing foreigners, it's only a matter of time until Islam takes a hold
Don't worry, Christian Sharia law is just as bad, if not worse than the Islamic version. British people are perfectly capable of fucking up Britain all on their own. Case in point: Boris Johnson.

The use of aunt and uncle in the days of slavery was a way elderly slaves were demeaned. It's inherently tied whether they or you like it or not

That sounds completely made up.

Imagine being Aunt Jemima and being called a racist stereotype or a caricature, because you're... black? You guys aren't very good at course-correction.

during the slavery days.
And what slavery days would they be, because slavery has been happening all over the world since time began and it's still going on. Or do you want to cherry pick your dates to who was enslaved and where it happened?

If you want to talk about slavery, lets go back since the first recorded history of it and lets have a look at who enslaved who and we can talk about that. Every single race has been enslaved at one time or other - or are you under the false impression that it was only Africans were enslaved and in no way were they captured and sold by other Africans!

I seem to remember a meme involving Bethesda (I think it was) changing their black-square logo to rainbow, for every social media account for each country...except the Middle-East account, which remained black due to that being strictly anti-LGBT.
Really showed they were only pandering instead of actually supporting it, else they would've risked alienating the Middle-East by turning that account's logo rainbow too.

You're on record admitting you're literally racist so a reasonable or intelligent discussion with you especially, isn't going to be possible.

Aunt Jemima isn't a slur for House slave Jemima.

Agreed, the meaning of words depending on the context can be drastic. So let's not think like it's still the 19th century and be more chill and reasonable.

Bollocks - prove it.

Let's face it, I don't think I've ever seen a white person being racist (apart from acting on TV) but I've seen plenty other races being racist, especially the black ones. White people are the least racist of all the races. Maybe that's why there's a huge amount of those races "sneaking" into white peoples countries, because let's face it nobody white is trying to "sneak" into other races countries are they.

Also if you want to have a proper discussion about slavery, there's no need to use the slurs to try to shut the discussion. I can educate you all about the history of world slavery from thousands of years ago right up until 2023 if your knowledge is lacking and by reading your posts - it is.

Here's the top 10 worlds most racist countries:

Most Racist Countries in the World (WaPo and BT results combined)*:

  1. India
  2. Lebanon
  3. Bahrain
  4. Libya
  5. Egypt
  6. Philippines
  7. Kuwait
  8. Palestine
  9. South Africa
  10. South Korea

Here's some more facts:

Notice how UK is not on any of those lists, either is Scotland - where I come from, probably one of the least racist places on the planet as far as racism goes.
