Atlus accidentally announces Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica, then deletes reveal post

Atlus was a little too prepared for Xbox's annual games showcase, as they have announced two games three days earlier than they should have. The Atlus West Instagram page posted a trailer for a game called Persona 3: Reload, followed immediately by an Instagram Reel post for a game called Persona 5: Tactica. Persona 3: Reload is the much-rumored ground-up remake of Persona 3, which looks modernized and runs in an engine similar to Persona 5. Speaking of P5, Tactica is a chibi-styled spinoff game with strategy RPG gameplay.

Persona 5 Tactica will be out later this year on November 17, 2023, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows, and will also be included with Game Pass. Meanwhile, Persona 3: Reload is out for the same platforms in early 2024. It's not yet known if these games will come to other platforms, as the trailers seem to be tailor-made for the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase. All posts involving the games are now deleted, but have obviously been backed up by fans.

P3R looks dope, but man they killed whatever potential a Persona tactics game had with that aesthetic and those character designs. Might as well have Funko develop it.
Well, they're actually the character models from Persona Q and Q2, which came out on 3DS maany years ago. Why the fuck they didn't announce this for Switch is beyond me

Nintendo didn't have their direct yet and Persona 5 eventually came, I'll be surprised if these games don't come too.

As for content, it would be a big missed opportunity for them to not combine all the Persona 3 games into one. The people hating can, you know, just not play what they don't want to play.

Eh probably not as much as you'd think. Persona fans will eat it up, fans of tactical RPGs will likely play, and there are probably a few people who will play just because of the chibi style.
Saving her for the inevitable P3 Reloaded Plus. Atlus knows how to rinse their fans for all their worth.

Huge P3 fanboy btw :')
It's fitting that Sega owns Atlas, they're both experts at milking as much money out of their fans as possible.
