Oh, cool. A new Sonic cycle.

If it plays and feels like classic Sonic, I'm all in. If it goes the New Super Mario Bros route where it basically feels like a side-scrolling 3D game, count me out. There's no substitute for the feel of the classics.

This looks really good. Always glad to see classic Sonic content that isn’t a rerelease or it being mashed up with the modern stuff. Hopefully Sega sells a physical version of the game on day one instead of forcing us to wait for months until the DLC comes out like the last 2 releases.

Looks interesting, kinda remind me a bit of Sonic Generations which was one of the few modern Sonic games I've enjoyed.

Possibly you also might need to Switch between characters in places? hard to really tell from the trailer, however it reminded me a bit of games like The Lost Vikings where you had to use a certain characters ability at some point in the level to progress. I guess it could also just be co-op gameplay.

Either way until the game is actually released: <insert Sonic cycle meme here>

So its pretty much episode/generations mashed together.

These type of sonic games have been recycled so many times and they offer nothing new other than go from point A to B, end of level.

Yay! A good classic frashise with a brand new release. Plz don't be like Sonic 4. Why Capcom and Nintendo is taking so much time do release a new Mega Man and Mario sidescroller game? Just give the fans what they want!

I mean, you're not entirely wrong, the Amy Rose skin isn't available for Steam yet (the social media manager confirmed this), but that doesn't mean the game isn't going to be on Steam.

fair enough, it's just confusing for people who have no interest in following various twitter hubs and skim through videos, the end card wasn't long enough for my tendency to spam the right arrow through the video

They should just make a new Mario game already, it's just been remakes/ports, outside of 3DW+BF, which added Bowser's Fury. Hopefully a 2d one, perhaps a new NSMB game, because NSMB was the first 2d Mario since SMA4: SMB3, and this one would be the first 2d since (not counting SMB35), Super Mario Maker 2.
