That argument doesn't work so well after three pages full of you responding from inside of Trump's anus.
He's not being charged with destruction of documents.
He's being charged with willful retention of national defense information, conspiracy to obstruct justice, withholding a document or record, corruptly concealing a document or record, concealing a document in a federal investigation, scheme to conceal, and false statements and representations.
None of these charges prevent him from running for president, even if he is found guilty.

I guess it could be considered an insult, but it's simultaneously fact. You can't get away with constantly contradicting yourself like your idol does.
I don't believe we've seen all the charges yet. We'll have to wait for the arraignment to hear everything.
But there was that whole scandal of a Mar-A-lago staff member draining a pool directly into the security surveillance room, destroying evidence. If that person says that Trump told them to do it, it's "Go directly to jail; do not pass go, do not collect $200".

There will be entire university courses dedicated to dissecting his political career. Students will need to confirm with their teacher if the former president of the US REALLY said/did __________________ (Fill in the blanks for the countless idiotic things he has done).
Psychologists will study how he riled up people, and had them defend him at every turn, no matter how blatant he lied to their faces. He made people turn their opinions around on a dime if he told them to. He's mad the party of "law and order" into a party that hates the DOJ and FBI (Even though most officers are statistically Republican!).
If it comes out that he had an abortion years ago, he'd say "Yeah, I made a girl get an abortion. There's nothing wrong about that!", people would just accept that as their new truth.

Also, trans kids exist and are valid. People don't magically become trans when they turn 18 or [insert local legal age of adulthood here]. You probably knew your gender identity long before adulthood, if I were to hazard a guess. So do many other people.

Pffff...fucking finally! It's been days if not weeks since that audio tape surfaced that contradicts his own statements of him declassifying all those (sometimes top) secret documents.
Not that THAT train wreck of a defense was particularly strong ("it was planted there by the feds", "I had the right to take stuff", "it's automatically declassified when I want to take them", "I wished them declassified", "I'm at least as innocent as Mike Pence").
There's one thing I don't really get. Since his crime is a violation of the espionage act...does that mean the authorities suspect him of being a spy? Or is it just gross maliciousness? Because for some reason everyone circles around the main question here:

I don't know if you have ever heard of Crossfire Hurricane or the Durham report, but self-preservation would be a logical guess. Political misdirection would be a wise guess.
Not by name, but if course I've heard of the investigation into potential collision with Russia in the 2016 election, and the following claims of bias.
I don't see, however, how that has anything to do with this. Self preservation would be if he took notes of that investigation. But these documents had mostly if not completely nothing to do with that investigation. And as it turns out, those documents have pretty much the opposite effect of preservation.
I'm not claiming to know what the documents said. Are you? Usually self-preservation is the reason anybody does anything. Why politicians do things usually involve an intricate maze of smoke-and-mirrors. They are above the need to "survive", lol. Whether Trump is feigning or following a script is anyone's guess.
The Durham report did more than just investigate "bias". It revealed how something like watergate would be tame compared to what's going on with the dirty politicians these days.
The fact that you seem to "follow" politics, genuinely, on a hacking forum, raises some mental health concerns. Are you not aware of "the game"? I lose by telling you about it, but I do care that much.
