Hopeful that it's going to be good, but been burned so many times in the past.

Honestly, I agree, maybe next time we get a pixelated MODERN style Sonic game, kind of like a Sonic Advance reboot or smth

ngl i never liked the 3D classic sonic look. It was aight when sonic generations came out but the 2d classic-style stuff like mania looks wayyyyy better. Nostalgia doesn't sell forever and I'd rather just see them use a newer design, i think the movie sonic looks cute
