where did you check your serial number to make sure it's unpatched, also if your booting with a jig are you sure its in correctly. are the drivers for tegraRCM installed on your PC?

I checked my SN on 'damota.me' and 'ismyswitchpatched' (can't post link) , for the jig i'm pretty sure i entered rcm because i only have a black screen and yeah i have the drivers installed

(Edit) I'll also add that my pc doesn't make a sound when i plug the switch

Maybe it's because I had the charging port changed ? I had the old one replaced because my switch wouldn't charge anymore so maybe idk

you need to remove all old devices, go to device manager and select "show hidden devices" then remove any switch related driver. then use zadig and install a new set.

Hello! Just registered here (I guess I had an account from years ago but can't remember it)

I have the same problem, I guess, and i have made several test. I guess I can't post other websites links, but there is a thread out there where people expose a similar issue.
To verify if we have the same problem: If you turn your switch on normally and choose "transfer pictures to a PC" or similar, does your PC mount your switch or it remains undetected? In my case, my PC does not recognise the switch (mine is a 2017 one, and I spent like 3-4 years in CFW-OFW, so there's no doubt my switch is not patched).

My take is that something has burnt in the motherboard, and I hae not find any case that managed to recover it. I can play in OFW with no problem, but there's no possibility to load any payload.
I guess mine broke by using a bad cable: I was playing and suddenly the cable became hot as well as the switch, I disconnected and the switch (never done this before) started to bootloop. When it cooled down, it stopped. I spent several days not playing, but then I discovered I could not load any payload.
Can you confirm if you are using a bad quality cable/charger? I read somewhere that NSW should only be charged with Nintendo's one, but I know many cases that use their phone cable and they have no issue (since then, I just use the Nintendo's one :rofl2:)

This is just my case and my guesses. I bought an OLED (as I can just play OFW anyways...), and would try and repair my v1 if I discover how to do that.
Any help would be appreciated.
And if I can post the website linlks where they speak about this issue, please let me know. I guess that would be useful for all of us to troubleshoot this strange issue.

Good luck!
