What did you Accomplish in Gaming Today?

Got the white dragoon gem, which has healing spells apparently. Kinda sucks that you have to transform into a dragoon to use it. Geez, you gain so little experience and gold aside from bosses. The last town had two things for 10,000, when you get like 40 gold/battle. :-/

I can beat Ninja Gaiden 1 on NES now. Super Ghouls & Ghosts on SNES. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on NES. And I can beat Friday the 13th on NES in under 10 minutes. The only one left from my childhood is Double Dragon 1. Even with the weapon glitch, I can never beat Willy.

I have been letting Castlevania - Circle of the Moon run non-stop for over a week now, trying to see how high I can get the damage output to be when using Pluto + Thunderbird DSS combo.

Currenly it boosts my strength to 3251. You only get about a hundred points per ten hours of gameplay, though.

I tested it out by fighting Dracula, and he dropped in literally three hits. I've doing more than 1,300 in damage.

If I can boost it to 9999 Strength, there will seriously be nothing else I can possibly do in this game.

I finally beat Skyward Sword for the Wii. I had been pushing it off for 8 years, and I finally decided to come back and finish it. I stopped at the first time you get into the Lanayru Mine, and last week I finally came back and beat the dungeon, and then in the days following, the rest of the game.

No pictures because I was too excited. I got the Windows 98SE machine up and running with an AWE32 sound card. To celebrate, I promptly played Doom, Doom 2, Wolf3D, and Chips Challenge. It’s always nice hearing “Bummer” when you die in Chips Challenge.

So how did I manage this feat? A USB add on card I also forgot to take photos of and the driver that came on floppy diskette and still worked. This allowed me to copy the CD files for the Creative disc to a USB drive and install them that way.

So, I accomplished something anyone else could’ve done in minutes on any other device. I just did it on period correct hardware and it took me days to achieve it.

Time to install the Voodoo 2 control panel and overclock it.

I beat the Chocobo Trainer in the Calm Lands with a time of 0.0 for the fifth time in my life.

Took an hour. This is one of the worst challenges in all of Final Fantasy, not just Final Fantasy X. The only one that is worse is the Jump Rope mini-game from FFIX.

I'm playing through Partners in Time for my first time, and I accomplished getting to the Shroob ship. I'm thinking probably tomorrow I'm gonna wrap the game up and start on my first ever Pokemon. I think I'm gonna go with HeartGold, instead of Gold for the GBC

Oh and I unlocked the Valuables satchel in RDR2 by getting a perfect bison pelt.

I got the Mercury Sigil from bliitzball in Final Fantasy X, in under fiifty total games played. I had to run a bunch of exhibition games to get Larbeight, Nimrook and Brother off of their teams.

I don't even know if you NEED any of the other players, really. If you have the Jecht Shot, you can just score once and hide behind your own goalie for the rest of the match.

this is godreborn. as you know, I've already beaten ff1 and ff2 (couldn't platinum 2 due to missables), but I beat ff3 earlier today. it took me about four hours less than ff2, and I think I like ff2 more. anyway, the last stage was a douzy. it had five bosses, and there's no way to exit. that was after completing the previous stage, so I went over two hours without saving. I'm going to see if I can platinum the game tomorrow. I have a feeling there's going to be something to make that impossible. :-/

I finally caught ten of all monsters in the game on Final Fantasy X.

For once, I didn't have any issues finding the Tonberry or the Simurgh. Each area took an hour or less, with the exception of Omega Ruins and Inside Sin. Barbatos did not want to be found.

All that's left is the butterfly mini-game for Kimahri's ultimate weapon, and dodging 200 lightning bolts for Lulu's.

And a LOT LOT LOT of grinding for spheres in the Monster Arena.

Got the 100% chests opened, all locations discovered, all hidden items found, and all summons obtained trophies today. I don't know how I didn't miss a chest or something. I missed that trophy in ff2. All that's left is the bestiary trophy to get platinum. I'm missing 28 monsters. I hope I can get all of them, then it's time for ff4. I think I liked ff2 more than 3, but 3 might be possible to perfect.

just got done platinuming ff3. there was one enemy I missed in a stage I couldn't go back to, but I had a save right before it, and the bestiary is the same for all saves. it may be a part of quick save actually.
