Is there a way to change folder letters into images? Like editing the font or something of the sort.

Use Nintendo Badge Arcade/GYTB for badges, then attach them to a folder.

Actually, go to Home Menu Settings, press "Decorate with Badges" and then press the circle with wrench icon, then press "attach badge to folder", then drag your badge to your folder.
