Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

I had a guy drive down 4hrs from Birmingham for a chip install, wait 2.5hrs, then drive back again... the Picofly is a hit!

He bought a new OLED Zelda. Never taken out of the box and handed it over. Mental.

Not seen one in the flesh, didn't open the dock, but guessing it's pretty too, nice piece of kit :wub:

I read someone comment about opening apu shield.
This is how i open the shield, using needle and pry plastic.

It is programmer that can drow motherbord and add all value by pc. Same outocad exe 3d print.

ZXW has same boardview layout showing old model device(iPhone mostly) with component values.
But not for Switch, schematic NOT exist.

By @Danook28 The last two pics are from the PicoFly Guide. You can also use a Cpu Shield as the source for the mosfet, if you find it hard to solder source on the cpu.

Sorry I forgot to add mosfet model. I mean for AON7506 mosfet.

Quick question: can corrupted eMMC cause Black screen?

I think my nintendo switch oled is working perfectly. Except the fact that it's on a black screen the whole time. Maybe my crap Dat adapter screwed up my eMMC.

How to test the switch to prove this? Would it be possible to install picofly and try some result? Hear that if the switch boots in rcm mode, it might be possible to manually inject hekate or rebuild the Nand via the appropriate payload.

I have a question for @rehius My v2mariko normal switch with Samsung eMMC is currently running fine on firmware version 2.74. However, I feel like the power consumption during sleep mode has increased significantly compared to the previous firmware version. It could just be my imagination, but is there anything that could be causing this?

For example, with the previous firmware version, even after a week of sleep mode, the battery level would remain around 97% with a full charge. However, with the latest version, after a week of sleep mode, the battery level is at 0%.

With picofly installed? Because without him, actually the screen is black when I press power button.
