Can I get banned for backing up my game cart so I don't have to carry around 14 separate game carts?

I was following switch.homebrew.guide when it told me what will ban me and what wont. One of my main reasons for modding is so I don't have to carry all my games with me everywhere I go. Did the same thing with my 3DS and my Wii U (I sometimes bring it to friend's houses).

I mean not a big deal if I have to lose online as all I use it for is Splatoon and Mario Kart. I need an excuse anyway to cancel my subscription.

Ok so apparently Spectrum (my ISP) blocks custom DNS. What are my options?
are you sure that's what happening? Are you sure you just didn't do it right?
If your ISP was blocing a custom DNS I would assume that you wouldn't be able to do anything on the internet, not that it would just ignore it.

I also have Spectrum btw

No need for 90DNS. DNS MITM and Exosphere are a lot safer and more effective solution.

just to clarify this works even if spectrum blocks DNS?
It's all ON the Switch itself. They can't do shit about this since this blocks your Switch for even contacting Nintendo's server(s). Plus lets say for some reason your Switch can connect to them. Your Prodinfo is blank. So they can't identify your Switch.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
