Making it legal will encourage more people to try it as it is considered a fad. This is fact.

Hollywood is poison.
That’s not how things work and it’s stupid to think it is.

Anyone want to talk about the Japanese court ruling anymore lol?
The law hasn't changed though has it - it's just some judge in a court with an opinion, it's not really news or a change in law.

There's not much more to say, people have different opinions - what's new or newsworthy about that?

So you do remember what this thread is about and even so you carry on with the off-topic derailing.
This should be handled.

They want to apparently want to speed this up. So long Japan.

It is sad to see this happen to such an interesting country.
Anyone who agrees and cheers on the decision above to celebrate mental illness is encouraging this below.

If they cared about people having children they wouldn't be trying to force or coerce Trans people to undergo sterilization as part of treating "Gender Identity Disorder". So this argument is absolutely rubbish and hypocritical, they wouldn't still be practicing a form of eugenics (albeit as an opt in system) if they cared about the continued survival of their country.

I don't even directly respond to this peoples individuals outrage "please engage / argue with me" bait anymore. Close minded bigots are always going to be closed minded bigots...they're just looking for affirmation and recognition so they can continue with their persecution fetish

They don't care about people, they just want a patient for life - someone to buy their drugs for their entire lives and to pay for operations, therapy etc. It's a good money spinner and these cretins just want to keep the cash flowing so they can live in the lifestyle they are accustomed to.
TBH If I was going to make lots of money from kids with mental issues such as gender dysphoria and I could supply them with drugs forever and make $$$$'s from hacking their bodies up - I wouldn't do it, but someone with less scrupples would and they are. As long as the cash is flowing they will tell the kids what they want to hear.

Well said, they absolutely do not care about people or the reproductive future of their country. They only make those arguments as temporary arguments against something they don't like in the moment but they never cared about it in the first place.

In the end Japan's Gender identity Disorder Act is a really sick messed up way to force people to undergo an irreversible treatment that will render them drug dependent for life. It's worse than other countries because unlike there where a person doesn't have to do it if they don't want, Japan will try and force a person to do it as part of treatment.

Man, I don't think it was the West that imagined up futanari. Japan has always been freakier and less sexually repressed than the US, about time the laws caught up to that fact.
Couldn't agree more, thrilled to see my country starting to come around on these issues. Though I'm a bit disappointed that they still treat trans and subsequently intersex people kind of badly.

well only one of these is really a problem.
They're both problems, although in a way you are right. While marriage restrictions are exclusionary and disrespectful, at least they aren't permanently damaging, like trying to force people to undergo sterilization to treat "Gender Identity Disorder".

Though I have a feeling that it's going to be harder for them to make the change here where it really matters. They're probably going to argue about why it's "necessary" or "helpful" instead of acknowledging it as the human rights violation that it actually is.
