Permitting same sex marriage is not going to make people more gay and having less children... If you think people are not gay for not being allowed to marry the same sex, boy, I have news for you.
And sad is for you too think homosexuality is mental illness. If anything, discrimination contributes to mental illness such as depression.
Making it legal will encourage more people to try it as it is considered a fad. This is fact.

Then don't expect it to happen to others. People are born straight or gay (or bi or whatever). Being legal or not, doesn't change who they are. It allows them not to hide it at most.

I would love to explain it but its not simple if someone starts comparing to human characteristics.
The reason for creation is to be known.
Wanting to be known is NOT a needy characteristic.
You only become needy when one lack something.
