Sorry for the questions I'm pretty new to this, based on what you said is this:

Thanks!

okay sometimes ive botched some mosfet installs and as soon as i turn them on, i see smoke comming out of the console, as soon as that happens, i turn it off. I take out the mosfets to see what i did wrong, test them to see which one is shorted but for they both pass... what? shouldnt one be shorted? it fent up in fucking smokes so.

Picture of your mosfet install? What version spec mosfets are you using? Any pull down resistors attached? If so what value are those resistors? Is the smoke coming out of the console motherboard in a certain location or from the mosfets directly?

dont have pictures of that previous install, IRFHS8342, no resistors, honestly i paniced so i couldnt see where it exactly came from, but i think that if it came from the console, it wouldnt have had turned on right?

Hard to help without pictures and visuals of your solder joints and work in general. Regards to where the smoke came from, probably the mosfet. Was it a double mosfet install? Remember, resistors generally limit current to a diode or part of a circuit so it doesn't get over loaded with current. If this happens, heat follows etc etc What awg wires did you use? The botched switch with this problem, does it still work at all?

Can you take another picture here, looks like a lifted pad (although it should work without that cap but you never know).
Also you should bridge the Source terminal because it is all going through single mosfet the way it is.
And, I would suggest a bit thicker wire for this installation.

What size are your wires and I can't see your pull down resistor on the mosfet install!?

That Cap looks toast and is probably why your getting mosfet error, there barely anything for the mosfet wire to adhere too.

There seems to be only one gate wire on your pico board at point 15!? Where is the second one?

If not asking too much (already asking) can someone please mark the necessary points of the emmc to reball on a switch lite? I'm looking to pass some jumper wires and want to know the absolute necessary balls of the emmc to make a trail

The source is bridge, its just at a glaring angle that looks bad haha. Ill fix the other thing though.

0.10m, i dont have a resistor in this install, didnt know one was needed, ive done several instals without one so im curious on what its used for? And the second wire is there, i swear lol look closely and you can see a little bit of it. Ill fix the caps, 1 sec.

If
Yes, thats the one. Some people used to remove it so it fits a little better but to be honest I don't remember it being recomended to remove it from the functional perspective
I removed the regulator of the rp but the shortcut between gnd and 3.3v persisted so i removed all the rp2040 and now the switch at least works fine in ofw mode, the battery was completely drained and took some time to charge, maybe the shortcut of the rp2040 drained it, i tried to turn on the rp2040 outside the switch but no lights blinked so i think is damaged. I will replace the rp2040 for a new one and change the 3.3v point to the emmc board instead of the cap, and maybe i will use a rp 2040 tiny instead of the zero.
will update if works or not.
Thanks for the help
