There's also the cheap Everdrive GB clones out there.

Yeah I got one of the clones from AliExpress, the newer version with a button to press that reboots you back to the game selection menu, very handy actually. It doesn't have RTC, so don't get it if you need that, otherwise it's decent and great value.

I got an Easy Flash Jr, with the firmware that enables SGB compatibility and like it very much.
And it also has that reset button.
And the battery inside I think it is for RTC, but for me isn't important.

The El Cheapo SD is an alternative to the EZ Flash Jr, assuming it's still available at all. Much older alternatives include the USB 64M and the Flash2Advance with a GB Bridge, but you might not even be able to find those anymore.

You can also reportedly use the GBxCart RW to flash certain cheap AliXpress bootlegs with whatever you want, but I don't know if there's any way to tell which bootlegs are applicable or not. Some places also sell flashable empty cartridges. Of course, such cartridges can only hold one game at a time, but that's not so bad, is it?

DO NOT BUY THE CLONE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND BUY THE REAL THING!!!!
What's so bad about them..?
