What are your thoughts on furries?

I don't have any friends who are furries, but in my objectively best opinion, I think that dressing up in any costume as a hobbie outside of on halloween is weird, and then if you enjoy shit like bestiality and doing sexual acts when in costume, that's just fucking messed up.
So... if a furry was to go to a convention in their fur suit, you'd be cool with that?YeahOutside of conventions, it just doesn't sit right with me
Well, no. I still have my other reasons for disliking furries.
Bestiality is zoophilia and actual furries also hate zoophiles
The sex in costumes (murrsuiting) is hella weird but I mean... I don't judge, you're only alive for a very short amount of time
For me to check if i'm ok with a given topic i always ask myself the following questions, "does a person doing this puts me or anyone else in a dangerous situation or position? does it interfer with my or others lives? does it harm someone in any way?". If the answer is no to every one of them, then i'm completely fine with it. Kindness and respecting others comes for free! 
And well, in this case, my answer to these questions is clearly no, so i'm definitely fine with it xD Besides, a community has many people in it, and it's not because a couple of them may have behaviours that can be seen as harmful, that all community will automatically behave like that too.
Just wanted to add that my personal experience with the furry community has always been quite welcoming, caring and respectful, so yeah! <3
Btw the fursuits look really really comfy, cute and approachable xD when i was younger i even wished to have one too

Yes. And for a good reason when most of these furries not only are still loud and obnoxious, not only they're vocal about themselves supporting crap like zoophilia and pedophilia, not only they're hypocrites who cry about "discrimination against furries" while they're biased against other fandoms like anime ones but they also pretend to have the moral ground against other fandoms like anime ones.

How are they even weird? They're not, just people cosplaying as animals. I see nothing wrong with that, as long as they play it safe and don't do anything illegal. I've had really great experience with the furry community.
That's the spirit. You're never too old to cosplay something that good.
But to be fair, those are the extreme ones.
Now, as long as they're not doing anything illegal and just dressing up as animals, okay, no problem.

Yeah, there will be people who will abuse their power, but all and all I had no issues so far.
I’ve actually only ever had one experience with the furry community and it was with a dude in Florida clear back in the late 2000s. I was visiting him and knew of his interest from way back in college, but had assumed he grew out of it or would keep it to himself.
Nah. This dude convinced me to dress up as a white horse and join him at one of the parties his friends was hosting. I had a fucking blast. As he said, nobody would know it was me. They weren’t into weird stuff, just drinking and talking and some pot smoking. It was an utterly normal party I would’ve had fun at regardless if they dressed up as animals. Towards the end of the night, as people started getting wasted, it morphed into this weird kind of mix of both dance routines and “cat walking” to show off your costume. Not one argument, fight, or bad behavior.
10/10 experience, would do again if given the opportunity.
The only person I knew that worn something casually, was a tail. Never seen full costumes, outside places like parades and parks.
