I think that, under no circumstances, should the working class be disarmed. Cause I'm a Socialist.

But the OP is an absolute whackjob. No shit we need some gun reform in this nation. There's no "far left" conspiracy. One because there is no far left in the US, two because even if there was we'd never stop infighting long enough to actually coordinate the literal hundreds of false flags it would take, on top of the fact doing so would be stupid and pointless.

Edit: Smoker gave this a thumbs up. I feel great shame.

Plus, you also got the Far-Right trying to force Religion on People. Forgot who it was, but a Woman going on about being tired about Separation of Church and State, that Gov should not tell Religion what to do, Religion should tell Gov what to do.
......Right, because that works out so well in the other Nations where Religion is Forced on People.

Way I see it, both Sides, Dems and Republicans are idiots, and The People should take back the Government for the People.....which is supposed to be what it is. As long as the same corrupt idiots are in, nothing will change, and will get worse and worse.

Or how about, since it is the "Leaders" who cant get along, and "Leaders" who send Soldiers to Fight so the "Leaders" can get Rich........how about those "Leaders" go Fight each other, instead of Millions of Innocents???
I am fully down for that. I am saying, when it comes to interpersonal conflicts. There would be far fewer murders if you actually had to know how to fight with a sword, instead of just being a punk who could pull a trigger.

They know they can not outright go against the 2nd Amendment. So how do you get the People behind you, wanting to do it, and supporting you going against the 2nd Amendment? By having Mass Incidents happening, one more horrific than the last. And now they are trying to reduce the Amount to be considered a Mass Incident, even Gang Shootings, since most Shootings are Gang Related. But 2.3 Million Firearm Related Incidents are in Self-Defense that the CDC concluded, but GC Lobby wanted the Defense part removed from that Report so they can say there is a Pandemic to get rid of ALL Weapons
Sources?

Oh, and if this is "Fake", or made up, I better hear about a Lawsuit against him, or a Cease and Desist

I asked for sources, I didn’t make those claims. And this isn’t a source, that’s a YouTube video

It's amusing how my dark blue city has super lax gun laws, because my state has a lot of hunters and gun lovers. Even I was surprised how easy it was for me to obtain a gun. I love it! lol

Don't worry though, I live around the corner from a middle school, which has a "gun free zone" and "drug free zone" sign and I can rest assure that people take those signs super serious!

Exactly. Apparently that Dark Knight Shooter picked that place because it was a Gun-Free Zone.

Easy to get a Weapon? Background Checks and Safety Classes involved? What about Cost to get a Permit, Fees, and other Costs?

...you do realize that the whole basis for this article is that people thought the stats listed in the study were misleading and that the methodology was biased, right? And that the whole thing is being spun up by Fox to stir outrage for clicks?
Name one major "news entertainment organization" (this is literally all that MSNBC, Fox News and CNN are anymore) that DOESN'T exploit disharmony for more viewership and more clicks.

It's not about journalistic integrity. It's about engagement, and being pissed off keeps you more engaged than being happy, and they fucking KNOW it.

Good point. Gotta love corporate media. 👍

My opinion is that the 2nd amendment should be eliminated and gun shops closed. Yeah, sure criminals would still be able to get guns ilegally but not the average joe, it only takes a bad day to become a criminal having access to guns. Stress, depression and anxiety can get the better of us so I think not having gun shops would help in reducing shootings (I'm not american so I'm sure most people will disagree with me)

So you would be perfectly happy with Criminals having the upper hand over you, and a Military/Police State where the Gov forces what they what on you, and can take your Rights away when they feel like it???? Constitutional Rights were put there for a reason.

Honestly, I think the biggest problem when it comes to guns in the U.S. is gun culture. Guns are just tools. Deadly tools, but tools nonetheless. The issues start arising when we start holding them up on a pedestal. We accessorize them, we collect them, we damn near idolize them. They're not just tools anymore. They're symbols. And having a bunch of symbols loaded with bullets is a recipe for disaster. I think that the working class should not be disarmed. That doesn't mean I don't think that getting rid of them all wouldn't solve a lot of problems.

No, not really but I can't see regular folks rising up to defend themselves, at least not in a large number so military/ police could easily solve the situation. They still take your rights away but silently so even if you have a gun it won't make a difference in my opinion. Here in europe we don't have guns so we don't have as many shootings (I won't say 0 since it's impossible) but the average joe can't just buy a gun (maybe for hunting rabbits or things like that but I remember that you need a permit or something). Constitutional rights were put there for a reason but the world has changed a lot since then, the guns too

Gun laws in America are stupid to begin with, especially if you are referring to citizens being able to stand up against their government.

The United States has tanks. Private citizens can MAYBE get an MP5.

The United States as aircraft. Private citizens can MAYBE get an AR-15. Not great against planes.

The United States has nuclear armament. Private citizens can MAYBE build a pipe bomb.

No matter what, technology has surpassed the usefulness of the Second Amendment, if the argument is to ensure that the citizenry can stand against their government, if need be. No citizen, or even ALL of us combined, could stand against our own military. It is a completely moot point.

Well, the People are supposed to be able to take back the Government. Says so in the Preamble of the Declaration of Independence. Oh, but with how Definitions are being Changed, now that is Insurrection, and Government telling you that you that The People can not do that.
Plus, look at some Countries that did Gun Control by Force. Especially Nazi Germany. Even used Children to push that on the People. Then China, now, they are Monitored like crazy, and if anyone does or says anything the CCP does not like, they are Restricted like hell.

So just surrender our Will, Rights and Freedoms to the Elite, huh? Also, there would more than likely be Veterans and current Soldiers involved if/when the People go against the Government. Plus, I highly doubt the Government would want the bad publicity of Nuking, or Bombing The People. Then EVERYONE would go against them

I would be happier with a cultural revolution, where we didn't need violence to find peace.

I know. I know.

Just saying. Either we are going to end violence or wipe each other out. There is no middle ground.
