About custom images, especially Icon and TV images: I've successfully installed Schlag den Raab (a game for Wii) as VC inject, but sadly it never got an eShop release, therefore there are no icon or TV images for it by default. Are there any guidelines for creating custom images (resolution, format, size)?

I see. The problem is when I try to fit in my custom images, they are a bit stretched (either by width or height) and they look a bit weird. Is there any set resolution for those images, so that I can prepare them beforehand in photo editing apps in order to avoid unwanted stretching?

One option in the menu has always been confusing to me: "DarkFilter: Enabled / Disabled." Does this mean enable DarkFilter, or enable DarkFilter REMOVAL? It's unclear to me which one I choose if I want to enable DarkFilter removal. Please, can someone shed some light on this?

From a UI/UX perceptive, it's best practice to avoid cross-referencing with form control labels, and just label the options directly. For instance, "DarkFilter / No Filter" without any heading.

Is there any way to have Famicom art show up in the TV image section? There's EU and JPN options for the SNES so was wondering if it would be possible to do Famicom

So how does the GBC injecting work? I injected the translated version of Pokemon TCG 2 using the GBA injector. First, I tried making a Goomba Color ROM that worked perfectly on the newest version of VBA, but when I injected that it crashed the Wii U when I tried to run it. Then I saw that I could just select the translated .gbc rom natively without Goomba. I installed it and it runs, but there's a lot of slowdown during dialog mostly, and the saves don't work. I have to use the Wii U's built-in savestates feature (which I make use of for all my VC and injected games anyway, so not a huge deal, but would be nice to not have to remember to save a restore point every time I'm done playing). I didn't check the PokePatch, because I assumed that was for the mainline third gen GBA games. Would that fix the GBC game?

It uses goomba to inject, not goomba color iirc, so that could be the issue. the PokePatch will only run with the gba games.

https://github.com/UWUVCI-PRIME/UWUVCI-IMAGES/tree/master
just fork it and make a pull request.

Original repo with hundreds of images sadly got lost (account who hosted the repo got hacked, and all repos got nuked)

How do you get an injected Gamecube game to pickup Nintendont's config file? I had my Nintendont settings configured beforehand, and when I play my injected game, none of the settings are in effect. I see "Start Nintendont Config Tool" option, but all that does is generate a nincfg.bin on the root of the SD card (which I already have).

Also, the config settings from within the tool are missing some options (BBA Emulation).

EDIT: Nevermind. It seems it was picking up my config file but the injector is looking for codes in the /codes folder and not the game folder.

You'll need to find both the common key (used to decrypt the title key for every Wii U application) and the title key specific to the base game you're trying to download BEFORE you're able to download the base game via app. As far as I know, we aren't allowed to share them here on forums, but quick Google search should do the trick, just make sure that you get the one for the correct region.

in which format should the file be?
It's not a single file but multiple files separated into folders. As far as I can tell, UWUVCI downloads only the bare minimum it requires to make those injects. Therefore, supply the before-mentioned common key and the title key (related to the base game you want to use) and you'll be able to download the base game (i.e. the minimum amount of files and info this software needs to make those injects). Quick Google search is all it takes to find those keys.

I've attached the images so that you can see how it looks on my end. On the left side of the Copy ID button should be the title key for the Super Paper Mario EU i.e. the base game I'm using for my Wii injects. You should see Download instead of Redownload button.
