lmao this guy really just sat on a chair, and apologized to the "people he hurt" because he thinks he caused people to allow them to be more comfortable to say the n-word to people. He shouldn't apologize for shit. The people who did that were fucking stupid, got dropped on their head, or probably had bad parents or something, cause who thinks in their head "hey idubbbz said the n-word so it's okay for me to use the n-word"? Certainly not anyone with a functioning brain.

The best part were comments online talking about how they said the n-word to POC when they were a teen cause they watched iDubbbz. What a bunch of fucking dumb asses. Millions of teens watched iDubbbz back in the day, AND also didn't use the n-word because they weren't stupid. This is one of the most easiest things you should be taught when you are like 5 are something. You don't disrespect people by calling them racial slurs. Honestly, I don't know what kind of soft ass school these people went to, because if you did that shit in my former high school, you probably would have gotten your ass beat, or shot. It's just so funny seeing people crying about how iDubbbz turned them into a racist lol.

I agree. It's like apologizing for making a violent video game because you think that it caused school shootings.

The dude is trying to genuinely grow as a person. Reflecting on his past and owning up to mistakes he made. That shit is rare, especially on online personalities, and that goes double when your personal brand is rooted in a lot of that former toxicity.

Like say what you want about the dude, but it's real funny to me that the most outrage he's caused in YEARS is because he said "sorry" for less than great stuff he did in the past.

I agree that It's always good when people an grow and mature, and then publicly apologize for their past mistakes with genuine guilt. However, Idubbbz was not actually a racist bigot who was attempting to push his views onto children of the time. He was simply being edgy to get a reaction, and nothing more.

If you can remind me of some genuinely bad things he did, then I'll change my mind.

Being racist to be edgy and being racist to be racist both end with you... being racist. I know the guy didn't intend to normalize bigotry amongst his audience, but he realized that he did do that, and regrets that actions he took inadvertently led to harm. Growth is realizing that your actions, despite the intent behind them, have consequences.

With how things are today, even the most minor of thing can make people see you that way. Some people take how others see them to heart. He clearly thinks he was a part of the problem, even though his cases were nowhere near as bad.

Did he say: n****, like Tarantino
or
Did he say: niggah, like Snoop Dog

It's different, depending on the context. I always find the way Tarantino says it in his movies extremely off-putting.

But like the asian dude does in The Hangover, I know it's a play and not an insult.

People today use little of their brain.

Edit: the word is censored... Weird...

Yep, he is and he has become somewhat irrelevant because of it. He still has an audience, every YouTuber tends to.

Does anyone here know Rob Gavagan (formerly Rob Dyke)? All he does know are live streams of his old episodes to get people to send him money. That's really lazy and sad because in the past he used to post high caliber content.

Apparently he has three million subscribers, but most of them are nowhere to be found. I think I'll unsub, I didn't sub for this shit.
