First time using switch emulator, I use think it was difficult till I seen a 5 minute youtube video showing just drag and drop my keys, not sure if it was always this easy because when you look at the guide there’s like too many steps. So here’s the problem I’m encountering, my nsp I got from using dbi doesn’t want to run, I get error 0007-0034 missing program type nca. Ok first game I tried this on was Zelda I guess that just worked because it was originally a xci file. So am I stuck converting the nsp file if that even works. I’m not sure how often I will be using a switch emulator but I just wanted to see if I can make it work. Now I’m wondering if I ever wanted to make backups of a few nsps if they can be reinstalled again.

Just a quick update apparently I just downloaded a nsp from a website and it worked. Why the nsp I got from dbi gives me this error I don’t know. Hopefully these nsps don’t need to be converted from an xci to work.

Problem solved I guess, nsps I took out using dbi just transferred wrong so they were corrupt. I just transferred a small memory nsp using dbi just now and it worked. I guess I will try the first two games I transferred again later but this time just transfer the base games and the rest later. So that error code basically means the file was corrupt.
When I get a chance this week I will try to transfer smash bros or mario kart again because I want to see how well the lan play thing is with this emulator. This time I will make sure to just first transfer the base game alone not the whole folder. Really hoping that error doesn’t occur again.

Just posting to verify that the games that transferred corrupt ended up working, I guess in my case at least it will be trial and error making copies using dbi. The games that I originally transferred didn’t even want to work even if I tried reinstalling on my switch.
