I was restoring a NAND backup with two 3ds CIA games installed on the home screen. When I restarted the system the two blank cards were there instead. In the system setting, I saw the data for the two games still downloaded with a gray "x" over them. I deleted the data for the games but the blank titles remained. Was wondering if anybody knew what they were and how to delete them. CFW is Luma3ds.

WARNING: deleting files in "system data" is very dangerous, I deleted a file in there trying to resolve a similar issue, and I had to recover from an older SD backup, barely saved my gamesaves. Sorry I don't have much else to offer.

if you are referring to FBI and deleting data, it can be. If you are referring to the system data options in the system settings of the 3ds, then thats rather funny. System settings with greyed out games means their tickets were missing.

Well it was a "similar" issue, not identical, the thing I deleted had zero blocks. This was basically what happened to me (except on regular nand cfw)

From TurdPooCharger:
When you used System Settings → Data Management and deleted that 0 block entry, it most likely corrupt one or both of these files found at sdmc:/Nintendo 3DS/db/ folder:
  • import.db
  • title.db

Ya, but that was data corruption. Data corruption can be a outright b. Its awful if it ever does happen.

Those greyed out X's in System SettingsData ManagementNintendo 3DS → Software means those titles have missing tickets due to restoring the sysnand *.bin image that didn't have them installed at the time that image was created. Whichever two (2) of your 3DS games (and their saves) were deleted needlessly.

Those blank white icons on HOME Menu are DSiWare games that are still registered on the CTRNAND's title.db database but are no longer installed in the internal TWLN partition or are not not registered correctly.

Before you go nilly willy mistakenly deleting titles off of Data ManagementDSiWare, backup your DSiWare games & saves with CTRTransfer (Type D9) - DSiWare CIAs & Saves.

Fixed this a year or two ago because of your comment. Forgot to thank you then. Came back 3 years later to tell you you're him.
