Try a different torrent client. Currently, I'm using qBitTorrent and it works just fine.
Magnet links requires a torrent client (just in case you don't know), qBittorrent is also my recommended one.
If it still doesn't work just copy the magnet link, open qBittorrent, go to File > Add Torrent Link

i downloaded the bin file, but when i tried to restore it, it gives me a message of "restoring failed"

Is this last error during flashing the firmware or after you flashed and trying to play it? If it's the latter, then it's probably the timebomb of the flashcart, you could try running YSMenu:

That is a 'timebomb'. Fake flash cards have this that force you to buy more flash cards, its a total scam. Download YSMenu from RetroGameFan's updates.

You're putting the files on the root of the sd card on your flashcart and not on your 3DS, right? Can you post a pic of the contents in your sd card?

I didn't know they made an MSU cart for the Genesis.... I knew about the SNES one and the library for that is rather large but the Genesis one has very few games+1
