Idk if you mean the naming convntion of sp1 and sp2, but I have just referred to the positive points on the capacitors as such, since i've seen those names around the internet. otherwise no, those exposed pads are the drains on the mosfets.
SP1 and SP2 get connected to the shield, I see what you're trying to do but you should'nt name them SP1 and SP2 otherwise people might try to ground them

I don't know if you saw the post earlier but i think that the missing diode is 5.6V 200mA Schottky (based on the circuit)

I guess these points and this "technique" were developed to better secure the flex cables with which the mod was originially designed. Fifty thousand pieces used to be soldered like that... Now they are just Ghost Mods... :P
Hope you're right. Will order it now and I compared the size to be a 0402 (Imperial code). Thanks 👍🏻.

Here is a rp2040 + dual mosfet board, it's untested at the moment, I'll get back to to the thread once my boards have arrived.

It measures about 14mmx 25mm from memory

I live on the edge... of forum XD

End of world scenario and this is the last PS2 Slim on earth: pull the IC, remove broken legs and try to 'retrace' the legs to the board.

That OLED was a success, correct?
Yeah oled works perfectly (instinct) also killed my lite trying the picofly. I have a mixed results pool when it comes to modchips it seems XD

hmmm so alot of people are having trouble with the switch lite it seems. Might be more sensitive than the others doing installs with Pico. Might get hold of another and use a flex cable and a different ground point....just for kicks.

Thank you @QuiTim !!
That makes sense. This seems to be a DCDC boost for the backlight.
( also that probably means it's a little under-rated :P )

@QuiTim I think you asked about that diode?

Well - I can confirm that a 40V 2A Shockley diode works in it's place!

What I had on hand was too big - so I had to improvise - but it works perfectly :D

Thank for the replay bro, I know @Takezo-San was having the same issue so I wanted to point him on the right direction. Maybe he can order some of these as well in case the small one does not work.

No need to double post, just be patient. Nightmare connector strikes again. Try to clean the flex with ipa.

I used it once and absolutely hated it. Especially where I have to solder dat0. Between cutting the PCB and desoldering components, I don't see why I'd use this over rp2040. This is good work though.
I can't find zero board in my area. Pi Pico is just easily accessible. I have used RP2040-One board in V2 but it can't fit inside an OLED. I love being able to just order from my local area. I am planning to buy from Ali but I have to buy in bulk and custom clearance is hell in my country.
Even though it requires lot of work I love form factor of Pi Pico afterwards.

Wait wait wait. So you installed that diode and......Blue Screen gone!? Can it be!? Naniiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!

I took mine off because I thought I saw a bridge from the nearby cap and it literally slid off my multi-meter probe. So I'm replacing this now but I'm not sure what it is exactly. 8A!? Fuse maybe!? Either way, taking it off and booting up now has a black screen oppose to a blue screen. Who knows might be the culprit because blue screen is, in my experience, to do with shorts (amongst other problems). Going to find this component (that was probably damaged) and then check. If normal boot works again then that LITE ground point (on the cap) is too risky (for me anyways) and will just reinstall RP2040 with a new ground point (like on top of USB-C charging point or something). Any clues as to what this component is anyone!?

Here's what mine looks like:View attachment 374736

Doubt it'll help though :\
I think I finally got the bastard

Trying buying directly from WaveShare. They charge $3 for bulk orders.

Hi guys, i ripped a rst pad, what can i do to fix this?
Please use search. We have been through this a couple of times.
Here you go: https://gbatemp.net/threads/picofly-a-hwfly-switch-modchip.622701/post-10159584 and then VERY IMPORTANT part by jkyoho here-> https://gbatemp.net/threads/picofly-a-hwfly-switch-modchip.622701/post-10159738
There is work to be done but it can be fixed (like most of the things)
P.S. you can skip the top component on those pictures (nr1) because your board doesn't have that
