Well, in RCM the laptop detects it and I updated my libusbk driver (which was already installed and working through USB-A). But as soon as it boots, windows no longer detects it. if you follow the guide you will install drivers for both states, RCM and DBI/Homebrew.

I know that, I have them installed, and have reinstalled them. If I connect through USB-A it works great, DBI, Awoo, whatever. The problem is that there is no sign of life in either of the USB-C ports after the switch boots, the only stuff that works is in RCM and Hekate.

I Had a weird issue before where a few USB ports on my PC would not pickup my Switch without first connecting a USB hub to them.

This has been dead for some time, but yeah this is it. If it is a thunderbolt port you have to use some sort of HUB and connect the switch to that (and even then only USB A worked, not USB-C).
