PS4 - FW 9.00 - Harddisk Upgrade planned / Backup created - Legit PSN Games installed

Hello all,

Iam have a PS4 on FW 9.00. My 500GB HD is full and i want to upgrade to a 2 TB Harddisk.
I have some legal PSN Games installes (Farcry 6 / The Forest / The Evil Within)
I created a full Backup to a USB Drive. (No Jailbreak active this time - Its a normal official created backup)

What will happen if i swap out the drive and restore this Backup ?

Do i need to access PSN to reactivate the console / PSN Games ?

To the best of my knowledge, yes I believe you do because it has to sign into PSN to verify the licenses and you can't sign in on 9.00 since it isn't latest firmware. If you swap the drives and restore the backup, I am pretty sure they will have padlocks on the games, so you should dump them on the old hard drive and make them fpkgs before you swap out the hard drive.

you can dump the games, then fpkg them. I don't know if the app dumper has been updated or not, but that would be the easiest way. then, make a gp4, after which, an fpkg. not hard, just time-consuming.

That probably can't be done because of official games. A backup should have full games but without keys. So it would do you know good.
