what we need are 3 charges or 1 of 3 inciting and insurection, illegal hording of state secrets (and no theres a difference like a whoopsie acidentally misplacing and taking home ( then correcting the error sending them back like biden, and knowingly taking them like trump (which could lead to the 3rd charge if he transmitted the secrets to russia) and treason I understand their testing the waters on more serious charges but werea year and a half away if trump does win hell probably add a C or S to the usa (communist or soviet respectively) I'd hate to live in the UCSA (United communist states of america) on another note I hope a miricle blue wave occurs and their first law to draft to prevent ANY convicted felon from running for POTUS why stop there Scotus and congress should be tacked on too (I mean felons cant run for state offices so....)

Healthy response. Even if he's convicted it's most likely just money (fines) and a permanent sitdown in the recliner, which would be best for all of us too. And if we could convince good ol' Joe also that it's time to give it up, all the better.
He knows this and most people know this. If I was him, I'd ham it up, surrender, and ham it up for the "perp walk". I'd sell shirts and other merch with my mug shot.

He's already been demanding donations from the rubes in his base to cover legal costs. That well isn't completely tapped dry yet, but it's getting there.

As a conservative ,i'm torn apart. From one side Trump is the best medecine against alphabet mafia and their agendas, but he also support lame 2nd amendment weapon thingy and hate immigrants .
He prolly a fraudster. But his mandate did good for USA image for the words.Since american are so stuck in their own ass and centered around themselves, they dont know how Trump foreign policy is good .War on terror was won without using american soldiers,Iran under a leash and Russia in check.Since Snorlax came ,USa is the laughing stock to all the world because of his alphabet mafia.
I hope we get a democrat like clinton or 2002 Biden ,the mummy you have now is embarrassing.

Apparently Pelosi thinks it's Trump's duty to "prove innocence". As exciting as Trump getting arrested is, it's bringing out a lot of character from people.

That's not how it works, but can you blame her? Dude has been claiming witch hunts, hoaxes, and fake news for years. It'd be nice to show him some evidence and then have him react to that rather than just continuing with all those smoke screens.

Absolutely. Misrepresenting the spirit of the law is evidence of a witch hunt, lol. Many people want to claim that Trump is the problem with politics, but he's just a tumor that the American political cancer created.

I disagree. It's one wrongly worded phrase from someone who gives him a chance to defend himself. Compare that to the hundreds if not thousands of his tweets, and those are on average a lot more dismissive and hateful. Ate all those evidence as well on your part?

There's something to be said about Trump's behavior being tolerated for far too long. But i wouldn't minimize his role in it.
Can't say whether this is a correction or not yet. That'll depend on what he'll end up being prosecuted for in the end.

If you honestly look at Pelosi like that, then there is no common ground here.

The point isn't that what Trump does is okay. The point is that he seems to expose the ugly of everyone.

What your post says, is that Trump set the bar for quality, so everyone gets a pass as long as they don't *exceed it.

That's the "face of the case" in the media because of the salacious clickbait angle to it. But if reports are accurate, the charges involve falsified business records. But the way Bragg's office is constructing what would have been misdemeanors into felony charges is iffy at best. Fareed Zakaria has an editorial about it on CNN's site:

"Trump’s offense is to have violated New York state law by falsifying business records, but the statute of limitations for that misdemeanor has expired.

So Bragg’s office will argue that the misdemeanor is actually tied to a felony because it violates federal election laws. But that violation is one that the Justice Department under both Trump and President Joe Biden looked at and decided against prosecution. That is, as many experts have pointed out, a novel legal theory. I should note that Trump denies any wrongdoing.

Given the circumstances, this case has the feel of zealous prosecutors minutely examining all possibilities to find some violation of the law. This upends the notion in Anglo-Saxon law that you first have a crime and then search for the criminal, rather than first looking at the person and searching to see if he or she has committed a crime."

Trump being arrested will be fun for the memes, but it will be actually good for his political ambitions.

The prison sentence will be kind of a certificate that the "system" is against him, and he is a hero fighting against this system.

He loves that image for himself, he did reinforced that other times.

Think about it, a retired Trump is just yet another obese American that talks shit on twitter sometimes. A locked Trump is a warrior fighting for whatever his campaign believes that will attract votes.

If things work out, Trump can finally live behind a wall designed to keep criminals off the streets.

When are Obama, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, George Soros, Bill Gates and company getting their angel wings? I mean do some of you really live in your own head and pretend these are good people? I find in hard to believe you've never heard any of the bad shit they've done, or maybe you just ignore it. But denying reality doesn't make it any less real.

Only modern President to NOT get in a war?

[ ] George W. Bush
[ ] Barack Obama
[ ] Joe Biden
[X ] Donald Trump

But you so called liberals seem to love war now as long as it's not a Trump war. What happened to the days that liberals protested Government. Now you all just worship them. You're all pathetic.

Hold on a second... We were in agreement that Trump shouldn't prove his innocence but nee proven guilty. But why doesn't Pelosi get the same treatment?

Trump hasn't exposed jack shit on Twitter or that other platform because he never backs up his claims with evidence. This whole"expose the ugly of everyone" is just his innuendo. You, however, jump to the conclusion that he's 100% right, because... Why? Because you CAN read Pelosi's tweet as a perversion of justice? Presume some innocence, dude.

No... I don't think we're on common ground. In fact, you're not on common ground with the tabzer from last Saturday who brought up that retweet.

I also think that one miscommunication isn't on par with several of Trump's "miscommunication" tweets in severity. So no, it's not 'just' about quantity.

She's not being tried, lol.

This is what I'm talking about. Trump's existence brings out this type of hysteria in people. I'm not saying anyone is right. People feeding into his bullshit makes him look right. It looks like America is trying to turn Trump into some sort of god.

"One".

You sure about this? The career politician is the good guy. The war machine was just fine without Trump. Is that your narrative?
