What would happen if you removed your RGH wires?

Had a shower thought and was wondering how the xbox responds once you remove RGH from the console? I assume it wouldn't let you boot up, but I am curious as to how it would behave. My friend asked me over lunch and I told her I would ask on Temp since I didn't know.

It will not boot since your NAND image has been modified and the signature check the system does on boot will not match. When you flash your original unmodified NAND image back it will boot again though.
But what would happen to the console itself (e.g: red ring, powers on and then off, doesn't turn on at all, green light but no video)?

It would simply refuse to boot or display much as the bootloader signatures have been broken by modifying them.
RGH works by hijacking the bootprocess very early on before most of the code is loaded.
I should probably spew out a red quadrant/light, perhaps an E error but I doubt it.

It will power on, the fans will spin but nothing will happen further. The boot sequence will fail before the red ring of death part of the code is loaded. No video will be there either.

This happened to me while I was replacing the thermal paste in my Falcon with RGH 3.

I pulled the POST1 wire (and in turn also pulled the pad...) and the console refused to boot. Green dot and immediate shut down.

Flashed the retail NAND with the RGH 3 wires (minus POST1) still hooked up and it gave 4 blinking red lights.
