I am looking for an old Windows 95 game

I remember playing an old Windows 95 game where I am a man under house arrest and have to find a way to leave my apartment. I remember using a toy parrot that pecked the tv remote to make the police think I was still at home but that's about as much as I can remember

it was 20 years ago but I got a retro pc going now and would really like to play this game on my retro pc again

Was it top down or point and click? Graphics style? Any notable gameplay mechanics? There was one game I found that matches the criteria just no parrot/remote part that I know of. It's called House Arrest Escape, but the oldest mention of it that i've seen is from 2009, not 1995.

A google search finds a game called 'Normality' released by Gremlin Interactive back in 1996. There's also a walkthrough on Gamefaqs should you wish to use it.

yep I found it and got it on my Retro PC

it was Normality

my memory is terrible with names and so thanks for your help
