I use WiiSXR, I got a forwarder channel wad for it too. The way it works is, u have your apps/wiisxr folder with the boot.dol and all. Then, on ur SD or USB, u have a wiisxr folder with bios, isos, and saves folders. Your PS1 "isos" consist of a .bin and a corresponding .cue file for each game. Sad thing is, theres a limited number of supported Ps1 Titles that play on the wii. And wiisxr has native wiimote and nunchuck support too.
Give me a few mins, I'll send u links to what I use specifically.

This is false bc I run usbloader gx and it runs from both USB and SD at the same time. At the moment I'm using a 64 gig USB formatted to fat32 for Wii iOS files and for GameCube iOS files and have GameCube and Wii games on the 32gig SD card as well so if something isn't working it's simply bc your path is incorrect or there is something wrong in your settings. Ps if you can't find stuff on the loader GX just go to setting and look at the path folders and correct the path in which loader looks for the games.

My Post,which you refer as a Quota,is from 2020.
The USBLoader GX (maintained and further developed from our great Friend @blackb0x ) can load and start Wii games from SD card since 2023.
With the latest Releases r1280 / 1281 from January 2023.
