I just powered on my Wii U after more than a year storage, and now I found that the system automatically updated to the newest version of firmware: 5.5.6 which made me unable to access HBL channel anymore.

I'm trying to uninstall CBHC and install Tiramisu for the console, but now I'm not able to access to the HBL to do the uninstallation of CBHC. I then copied Tiramisu files into the SD card and went to the wiiuexploit.xyz website and tried to access HBL from there, but every time it just hang and froze on a white screen. Does anyone have any other method to uninstall CBHC or access to the HBL? Will system reset work or does it brick the console if I reset the system before uninstall CBHC?

With the update you uninstalled CBHC already.

Thank you for the information. So does it mean that I just safely delete the "DONT TOUCH ME" data from the System Memory in the Data Management? Everyone is saying that CBHC must be uninstalled from HBL before removing "DONT TOUCH ME“ or the console will be bricked which prevented me from doing so.

Also, I did read the guide regarding the frozen screen. I also reset the browser's save data as well, but it still froze everytime whenever I tried to to launch the HBL either I launched it directly from Tiramisu Enviromental Loader or get into Wii U Menu and then run Mii Maker or HBL channel directly. It freezes everytime when I do so.

You have to open up CBHC installer to uninstall CBHC.

Exactly. In case CBHC would be running it would prevent you from doing this anyway.

You have to open up CBHC installer to uninstall CBHC.
Not in this special case. The 5.5.6 update is known to remove/overwrite the coldboot which basically uninstalls CBHC. This is also why the OP gets 199-9999 when trying to open HBL: This error means no CFW running. ;)

I would uninstall it with the CBHC installer (using the browser exploit) anyway just to be safe, then install Tiramisu.

Depends on what he get on the screen when he turn it on, if he get the screen below then he still have CBHC

I'm willing to bet $ 1000 that the OP doesn't see this screen. Again: The 5.5.6 update is known to uninstall CBHC.

The guide doesn't handle this special case but we (the ones who write this guide) know about this.

//EDIT:
If you receive a pop-up stating, "A system-memory error has occurred. Turn off the console, and then try again." while deleting
This is what happens when you try to remove the app while CBHC is running (and the guide tells you to reboot as CBHC might still run after uninstalling, you have to reboot to remove the already running instance). It's a saveguard build into CBHC to prevent you from doing stupid things. The guide is just extremely careful here.

Let just see what OP says.

V10lator is right. I don't see CBHC autobooting screen when I power on Wii U anymore.

I'm going to delete "DONT TOUCH ME" from the System Memory and then install Tiramisu now. Hopefully I can get HBL channel back to working again.

Well you are safe to proceed with Tiramisu installation. You can delete the "Don't Touch Me".

Yes. I just did. I have successfully deleted "DONT TOUCH ME" without CBHC uninstallation from HBL without any issue or error and also successfully installed Tiramisu on my Wii U. I ran the Check to see if my console is safe to install Tiramisu and the result is a go:

So I just install it straight and everything goes well to the end.

However, after the installation, I'm still not able to enter the HBL. I even delete the HBL channel and try to enter HBL via Mii Maker, but still not working. Whenever I do so, the screen just freezes and I have to power off. Any idea what might be the reason?

Try another SD card if you got one.

Will do so. Thanks.

I tried another SD card but still not working. I think there is something stop HBL from working in the system, not the SD card issue. Might be something that I installed before, such as CBHC, Haxchi, Mocha, etc which causes the conflict with HBL in the Tiramisu. I'm not sure about this, I'm just guessing here.
