My kid nephews thank you for this compiled version.
I share my new forwarder channels for Sonic Mania and Sonic Mania Plus, I hope you like it.
NOTE: the "boot.dol" file must be located in "apps/SonicMania/" or "apps/SonicManiaPlus/", it is important that you respect the name so that it redirects you to the game, if not, rename it yourself.
They are available for both the Wii and the WiiU vWii.

I tested "Sonic Mania Plus" forwarder and can confirm it works based on following your instructions so it's safe to assume the forwarder for the base version of "Sonic Mania" is working as well. Thanks my guy.
Didnt worked for me, and when i close the game, BAM!, DSI Crash error!
And seriously, i put the runIn240p=y UNDER [video], and no, didn't worked.

hi how do you transfer savefile from pc to be compatible with the wii version?
i tried different savegrames from the pc, impossible to made it compatible with wii port
The savegames are not compatible, I tried the editors that are out there, one gives an error when you select the save from the wii (sonic mania save editor), another does not work for the wii to recognize it or read the data. In the end, I create a game on the pc in the same slot as the wii (the second) and replicate the save on the wii (same level green hill zone 3 Lives etc) .
i used the save on the PC and edited it with the "sonic mania editor" to give it only all the emeralds...
and then opened the two saves with an hexadecimal compare-editor to see the differences, and after many many attempts and copying and pasting lines and numerous attempts I managed to get a save from the green hill zone with all the emeralds, I leave it here in case anyone you are interested https://www.mediafire.com/file/t17sm04h7ocyz3n/SaveData.bin/file
I wanted to do that because it's impossible to win all the bonuses because of how it runs on the wii and you won't get the good ending, it's worth replaying it and on the wii at 240p it looks very very good it reminds me of sonic 3, thanks for the port, I don't know why the saves work differently, maybe it's a bug?
today i played the whole game until the final level (slot 1 save), I quitted the game in act 2 of titan monarch to make a backup (was a normal playtrhough without emeralds my intention was to mess later and add the chaos emeralds) , when I insterted and replayed through act 1, it freezes after you destroy the act 1 boss D: that was so sad I had to finish the game on pc. Maybe is another a bug? I was able to load the savs when the game freezd in some levels but in the titan monarch l it freezes, I don't know why, maybe my save is corrupted? Why I was able to play act 2 before quitting the game ?
now i will try the 7 chaos emerald save if it has problem there or not, I only notice 2 o 3 bugs through my playgame
- one in flight battery zone, act 1, the boss didn't start
- one freeze in studipolis act 1
- this bug im telling you that crashes after act 1
- metal sonic boss is with lag like at 15-20fps (still playable)
edit2: I think it's a bug in the compilation I have or in version 0.4.0, I played again with another save from metalic madness and at the end of act 1, I went to the next level, but it was playing for less than a minute and the error came out that DSI with white letters on a black background (but I can go on to the next act). I rebooted and retested 2 times and neither of those managed to load the second act. It stays on the score screen when you're done. I suspect it has to do with the achievements, can they be deactivated?
edit3: the error was reported here: and the solution is to delet the settings.ini file, why it happend, i dont know, anyway, here you have a save with 7 chaos emerald and 99 continues in the final level so you can get the good ending in wii! https://www.mediafire.com/file/br8e1i5ucu20vqu/SaveData99.bin/file

first it is not licensed by Nintendo second the user can have the normal one not the plus
do you still have the file?I was able to compile the web assembly version of sonic mania. I've now compiled every version of it.

Here again I wanted to try again my wad forwarder that I made for sonic mania, but now having it in the usb (disconnecting the sd), the game works for me launching it only from the HBC, but if I launch it from the wad channel I get a black screen It is strange that the forwarder boot.dol creates it with ModMii @XFlak , and several forwarders do work for me both on sd and usb, the same thing happens to you? There are no problems on sd, the forwarder channel does work.

There is a homebrew port of Genesis Plus, but since there's already the Sonic Mega/Gems Collections it makes it kind of unnecessary if all you want are the Sonic titles.
