You can use the tegraexplorer syncfix script to do it manually. I think that also copies wifi settings and possibly other things too though, so keep that in mind https://gbatemp.net/threads/pairing-the-joy-con-on-emunand-and-sysnand.562519/

Or, just use atmosphere on sysnand too. It's safe to go online with cfw provided you're not doing anything banworthy.
This worked perfectly! Thanks :)
I prefer to keep my CFW and Stock separate, just to be 100% sure hehe.
Thank you again!

Tried to install new game via Tinfoil, Switch froze and after restarting I got this error:

Error Code: 2002-4364 (0x221802)
Program: 010000000000001F
Firmware: 13.0.0 (Atmosphere version...)

Tried
- searching and deleting folder 010000000000001F but haven't found it
- updating hekate to 6.0.2 and atmosphere to 1.5.1
(OFW 13.0, don't know how to update it without disabling autoRCM as I don't have the jig at the moment)
- even deleted atmosphere folder on SD card and replaced it with new version
- booted to OFW, Switch said some files on SD cards are corrupted and will be deleted, let them delete it and reboot it
- deleted all saved data and games
- tried benchmarking SD card (FAT 32) in Hekate, no errors

I have an eMMC backup but have no experience with it as I bought it from a seller who did it. I don´t have the RCM jig and the AutoRCM is enabled. Using chip HW.FLY

Anything else I can do? Have no clue what should I do next. Thanks.

is there an easy way to resize paritions on the sd card without backuping up every and wiping everything.

I have hekate 6.0.2 installed and originalli was going to run android on my switch
So my sd is partitions
fat32/emummc/android
I want to delete the android partition
move emummc further in the layout
expand fat32 with the extra space from the android partition.

You could use the reboot to payload method, so you reboot to hekate. Or you can use this to boot into hekate.

https://github.com/suchmememanyskill/Payload_Launcher

Where can I read about the ‘reboot to payload method’? Does this remove the need to connect the Switch to a payload injector?

I’m actually looking for an answer to, is there a way to fully shutdown the Switch and then boot into CFW without having to connect the switch to anything?

If no, what’s the best portable payload injector at the moment?

You need modchip if you want no payload dongle.

I have a question as well.

So I never used a modchip before. If I let someone install this picofly thing, could the modchip be patched?

Is it possible to use a forwarder for a specific game via NSO online app?

Example:
If I want to have an icon on the home screen for pokemon crystal and let it boot through the NSO gameboy emulator, is this possible?

I don't really know how to phrase my question correctly at the moment lol, if it doesn't make sense I will edit my post later

Just so we're covering all our bases here, do you also have AutoRCM or emuMMC? If the answer is yes to AutoRCM, that may complicate matters as updating from OFW may remove AutoRCM. If the answer is no to emuMMC, you may get banned if you go online to update the firmware. Regardless, the process for updating CFW is as simple as going to the official Atmosphere GitHub page, downloading the latest release, deleting the old Atmosphere files and folders, then putting the new ones on the SD card.

For starters, I have no idea why you needed NS-USBLoader or how you even used it to send Hekate because its a tool designated to facilitate .NSP file loading. Since its literally impossible to use NS-USBLoader to push Hekate, I'm not even sure what you mixed it up with but as long as you didn't install any actual .NSP files, you should be fine.

Secondly, while the modern Hekate menu may look like a CFW menu, it is not in fact a CFW. There was a debate early on in the Switch scene whether it qualifies as a CFW or not but the technical term for Hekate is a bootloader. It is a program that launches before the Switch OS, Horizon, is running therefore its not modifying the current firmware or running its own firmware as other CFW tend to do. It employs a wide variety of tools to the user such as dumping the eMMC, toggling AutoRCM, adjusting the archive bit flag, and many other things. And it does all of this in RCM. Here's the thing about RCM; its not a hack. Its an intended feature of the Switch presumably used at the factory level. So even if it was true that booting into RCM set a flag, Nintendo would have to deal with flagging their own units entering RCM.

The connection between your Switch and PC in terms of payload injection is only for sending a payload via USB. Once the payload has been sent, the PC has done its job and disconnect. There can be other reasons you keep them connected however. You can transfer files via USB between your computer and Switch or you can install .NSP files via USB. The point is you didn't need to keep them connected once the payload was sent successfully.

As explained in the second paragraph, Hekate operates outside of Horizon and in RCM meaning there is nothing to detect. As far as the Switch is concerned, it has no idea what happened to it while Hekate was running. Dumping files does not involve installing anything to the console. You could even leave the jig in there if you wanted to but then you wouldn't be able to attach your right Joy-Con. The only possible installation you could have performed in Hekate is AutoRCM however you don't even need it for your purposes.
v1 hack, emunand cfw(it auto boot, config in hetake i think, else u need to hold - when power up switch), i use jig to active amotsphere

there are three firmware i saw in hetake
ofw , emunand cfw, emunand ofw
i usually pick emunand cfw when want to play hack on cfw firmware, when i want play online , i just completely shut switch down

so simple, just
1 - go github download atmosphere newest files, put it in microsd
2 - turn on switch, ofw, update firwmare
3 - turn on switch with jig to enter cfw if i want play hack else, stay in 2 until boring, hmm

just about curiosity, is the switch powerful enough to use picture in picture ? Like watching crunchyroll or youtube while playing a game?

Most third party (if not all?) work just fine for the setup.
As long as you can connect them to the joycon rail connector.

Hi,
I got an error on my old partition-based emuMMC, so I backed up my SD card files and reformatted my card. Instead of my old partition-based EmuMMC I decided to setup a file-based partition. The Nintendo folder in my old partition was in this directory on my SD card /emuMMC/RAW1/, and I was hoping to just be able to copy it into the new /emuMMC/SD00/ directory. But after I hours of copying files, I booted it up and none of the games were there, and the only user was the default user 11. When I checked the SD card, I saw it was overwritten by the default Nintendo folder, and all the games I copied were gone.
The emuMMC.ini looks right
[emummc]
enabled=1
sector=0x0
path=emuMMC/SD00
id=0x30304453
nintendo_path=emuMMC/SD00/Nintendo

I tried copying the Nintendo folder to the root of the card before creating the file partition, and then also coping a duplicate of it into the /emuMMC/SD00/ after the partition was created but the results were the same.

Can someone explain to me how this process works? What's overwriting my Nintendo folder files?

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
