So I made your v4 as a inject and great stuff.
Games I've tried and tested.
Resident evil 1, 2 and survivor (All work)
Resident evil 3 (Might be a issue with my file) as it sent me to bios (resent game to Wii U can confirm RE3 Works perfectly)
Metal Gear Solid
Mickey's Wild Adventure
Gex 3

As for cheats I'm assuming I could load xploder load cheats and swap disc to the game? Has this been tested?

Absolutely amazing stuff Niuus great work.

Use the .cue file, or disable boot through BIOS.
It turns out when I had FTP the game over it hadn't fully done it so I deleted it and re FTP it over and been playing it works great honestly
1 note I will say is Gex 3 to me didn't see any performance increase and eventually dsi error with 4.0 but in the build before I managed to play the game a lot more without having a dsi crash.

Unsure if it's related to lightrec or not though.

Would you ever consider PBP file format in the future?
I'm pretty sure PBP format is compatible with WiiSX RX (my friend @Zorg07 have made a PBP for Final Fantasy 7, and loaded it fine), only thing missing is adding support for show PBP files on WiiSX RX.

Tested SOTN in it, works almost full speed but audio still has some tiny crackling and every 6-8 seconds, frame stuttering.

I am really looking forward for how much these psx emulators can be polished around lightrec, also aside from 240p, one feature i wish there was, was a screenshot function that captures images, particularly without bilinear filter, i say that because they do come in handy for a pixel artist like me.

I get an error opening directory "usb:/wiisxrx/isos"
does it have to be in a specific usb0 or usb1 port?
I read some older issues with the solution "format your usb drive in fat32 32k MBR primary to fix. not GPT and not logical" is this still an issue and fix for this problem?
I have a 5tb HDD and wii/gc games working in wiiflow.

No. It would say so on the readme, if it ever was the case.

It's a known fact but 99.98% homebrew supports FAT32 only, as other file systems are totally pointless for a Wii. Very few exceptions support other FS (NTFS or exFAT only), and even in those, FAT32 is still recommended. The Wii is a very limited console with a small amount of RAM.

Its Fat32, but im not sure about the GPT or logical part.
Anyway, my mistake i did not read the readme carefully. Thanks for your help and quick response!
Anyone use this wiiflow lite? i got it to show games, load the wiisxrx then say autobooting game, then it hangs with the wii sxrx logo at the top right.
Also, i read that "The Wii U Gamepad is also compatible, but only when doing Wii U injections" - Can someone point me in the right direction to this? And does this mean it can work well with bloopair and essentially work with all genuine PS controllers which work thru bloopair?

Sure. I always used MBR in the past and nothing else for my Wii games, and also had a 256GB flash drive, dedicated to a wide array of gaming tests and development (which died, and slowed down my compatibility list, oh well). Currently I don't have an extra USB device to do tests, but if I ever have reliable info, i'll also add that to the readme, as a curiosity.

I don't use Wiiflow at all, but our resident Wiiflow expert is @Tetsuo Shima, if he has some time, he could probably give you some hints on that.

Bloopair is for the Wii U environment. Emulators for the Wii do not run there, only on vWii, so you'll never see Bloopair controllers working with anything not Wii U. The only reason the Wii U Gamepad works is because it acts like a Wii Classic Controller plugged to a Wiimote.

About Wii U injections, the only thing you need is extract the emulator on the SD, like instructed on the readme, and then just happily install the official WiiSXRX Wii U Channel forwarder to your NAND with your installer, typically WUP Installer GX, like you would any other Wii U software. Get the channel here, inside the releases section.

After that, open the channel in your menu, and play. Optionally, use c2w_patcher for overclocking, some games like Tekken 3 need it.

So, you've never tried loading a PBP? It's already working. The only thing I didn't do was update the Goals list in the Github, LOL. I don't usually use the PBP compressed format as I was building a clean compatibility list, and didn't want to add another layer of theoretical bugs, having duplicate files, etc.

You remind me, in fact, that I have one single small PBP in my SD just to check it every once in a while, last time I did was in 3.1, worked fine, and completely forgot about it, as I just use clean images, anyway. To summarize, support It's there since 3.1, man.

To officially clarify, you can use:
ISO
BIN
IMG
CUE+BIN
CUE+IMG
PBP (Caveat: Don't use PBP with CDDA tracks, it will output noise instead of music)

Just always keep in mind, I can't guarantee every single compressed PBP game and their many variables, bells and whistles when compressing will work. Not gonna ever start a battery of tests and checks, LOL. But it works with my own files.

In your goals, you write support for dualshock 4 + 5. Has that happened yet?
How about CHD files? I have 9000+ files in cue/bin format, it seems to cause it to freeze up. I'm looking at re-downloading a complete romset in .chd format, or at the least ISO (seems harder to find)
Love that you are still working on this btw. Its people like you that keep emulation and old consoles alive.

I have a idea unsure if it's possible or not but Analogue Spoofing so we can use analogue as D-pad as an alternative I've seen it done with other emu's before
afaik arent all ps1 games comatible with stock ps1 controller?(without analogue sticks) besides some rare games like ape escape and such, so why spoof the analogue mode if you want to use the dpad? just use standard mode to use the dpad over the analogue ingame?

Games that use digital allow to use only the Dpad and analogue can't be used as a Dpad and if setting to analogue is turned on in a Digital only game the pad doesn't work at all but being able to use Analogue stick for all games would be neat

like i said arent those analogue only games very well few and rare? afaik every game that is compatible with analogue sticks has both options with the exception of ape escape and maybe 2 or 3 games.

you can use analogue sticks on all the games, those who support it just switch to analogue mode those who dont you can just remap the dpad controlls to analogue stick of your choice

what would be the point of turning a game from analogue to dpad? when every game bare ape escape can already do that by just using standard controlls?

i just dont see in what game this would be necessary or needed r even usefull tbh, give a a context of a game that is analogue only but you want to use the dpad for whatever reason?

Anyone use this wiiflow lite? i got it to show games, load the wiisxrx then say autobooting game, then it hangs with the wii sxrx logo at the top right.
I've tried the 4.0 Preview as a Wiiflow plugin and it autobooted all my NTSC games just fine, except for all my PAL games.
With Pal games it either hangs like you said, or it's a black screen with controls not responding. If I press the power button to shut off the wii, a code dump message appears.

@niuus If I try to load a PAL game from Wiisxrx's interface, it loads, but it takes up several minutes to launch. then everything is like in slowmotion (like 1 or 2 fps). With latest WiiSX every pal game is playing at the correct speed (at 50 FPS ofcourse).
Pal games troubles aside, I want to compliment with you for this great release. Now even the problems I've always had with the Classic Controller are gone, now it's immediately recognized and working.
Just curious, why the "preview" suffix? Apart from this issue with Pal games it seems really perfect, so I was curious if you're planning to add something else
