Both should support it equally.
Thanks. I guess I'll just experiment with both and see which is better.

Also, I forgot to ask: I know you use Nintendont vWii/VC Injection for NGC ISOs, but what about original Wii ISOs?

Edit: I watched a video on YouTube with someone recently going through the Wii U Hacks Guide, and detailed how you can use VC Injection for Wii games, with WUP Installer. And you are right in terms of how NGC games are just a wrapper for the game being run through Nintendont.

I think I'll stick with Nintendont for NGC games. It looks like it would take some time to install each game individually via VC Injection and WUP Installer. Don't have much of a choice for Wii games, but at least with NGC games, you can just slap them onto the SD and run them directly without installation. Looks simpler to me.

If you're creating a bespoke collection of games you once owned the VC wrapper injection solution is perfect.

If you're an industrial scale game hoarder on the other I can see it being a bit of a faff.

So will this app die when they shut down the Wii U eshop?
I'm using it NUSspli now and is fine I also heard it will remain possible to redownload purchased games so I'm assuming you won't be able to but them but should all be stored somewhere to retrieve them again.

So now? Yes, it's dead! 😱
Nah, Just kidding. This question has been answered a million of times and all you would have to do to answer this question for yourself would have been to just try it.

with WUP Installer.
Don't say this bad word here. This is NUSspli support, so fuck WUP installer and just use NUSspli: It can do everything WUP Installer can do and more.

For original Wii games as well? I thought that NUSspli is only for Wii U?

@indigenous Call of Duty was a disc only release, so it was never on Nintendos servers. We can't add content to Nintendos servers.
About this is there anyway you can have said games that aren't available point to a link to download it from as we have many games that aren't available on eShop.

Downloading content from the NUS is already a huge legal gray area. If we started hosting our own servers and pointing tools to them to download disc only releases, that might push the line.

Better to be safe than sorry especially when developing tools like this.

Exactly. The way we do it Nintendo is hosting/distributing the files, so all they could sue would be themselfes. We won't host/distribute warez.

And before the question arises: No, we also won't include 3rd party links to disc only content as that would be unreliable. Like they could go offline at any time or even worse: Replace the files with viruses, trojans, maleware, ...

Will NUSSpli die if Nintendo deletes the files?

NUSspli as well as every other NUS tool gets the files directly from Nintendo's servers. So yes, if they did theoretically delete all the files then the links it uses would 404 resulting in fatal errors.

This however will not happen anytime soon as they made an announcement saying content will be available for re-purchase for the foreseeable future. This means the servers will stay up which allow us to download NUS files regardless of the closure.

Nice to see that NUSspli is working after the eshop has been taken down but isnt the downloads a lot slower then before? Speed is around 1.6MB/s so downloading 6GB games takes about a hour.

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show. +1
