Hey all.. installed on a V2, removed the HWfly to play with the rp2040.. I enabled RGB on back, I get Blue/ purple and OFW Boots instantly. I have a V2 flex cable install. All Points show Value.. I've tired another RP2040 without any desoldering and resistors facing forward but get the same issue.. thanks for any help..

Would adding a line to the 2nd pad on the Flex cable change anything as thats the other trace line on the flex cable?

sorry for orange photos not sure why it took them like that

Hi all, managed to get my Erista to go blue, then a turquoise light flashes only to go off and boot to OFW.

I think it's the mosfet, I cannot see how the hell to solder it to the cap?
It just does not want to know. I have a thin tip but you cannot stop crossing pads.

Is there anyway to bypass the mosfet temporararily & get the chip to boot to see if it's defo the mosfet links causing the issue?
I was up to 2am trying everything to solder that last part.

Thanks, Ant
no there is no way to bypass the mosfett

blue then toruise(cyan) that mean u have a issue with the mosfet or cable to mosfett

u can use a short thick wire or repair pads for broken traces

lets see a pic of ur soldering and ur tip ,are u using flux ?

you have bridge the flexcable. It's only suppose to be on one line. (Image 2)

Double checking those are 47ohm resistors and not 470 ohm resistors

If I remember right, it's just the middle finger that needs to be solder on. Else you probably make it short out.
this is the v2 flex cable it looks like a single trace line going into both pads, i soldered to one just the make sure..
