Hello all, first time on the forums, though I've lurked the site for a while;

I hope this is the right place to ask but is there anyone who could help me hack Final Fantasy IV for the DS? All I want to do is adjust the battle system speed as it is painfully slow as is. I have no idea how hard this could be, but maybe somebody here would. What do you guys think?

Does gbarunner has slot 2 support
Please read what I said, before asking about Slot-2 support for another emulator. :P
Maybe find out if it supports it? If there's no mention of Slot-2, then it very likely doesn't support it.
I'm curious as to why are you asking about Slot-2 support for emulators?

This is something you'd normally ask the emulator developer about, but since I don't think he's around now, I doubt we'll ever know.

I am trying to run a compatible DSiWare title through TWiLightMenu off a flashcard, but TWiLightMenu won't let me run any games in DSi mode. How do I fix this?
I am doing this for my new 3DS XL that I'd prefer not to mod like my other systems. I have the 2018 r4 gold sdhc 3D revolution (r4ishdc website) flashcard and TWiLightMenu as my primary kernel. In particular I am trying to run Legend of Zelda Four Swords Anniversary Edition, as even though I believe I remember seeing that the game isn't able to save on TWiLightMenu running through flashcards, that doesn't matter to me as I would only use it to attempt wireless play so I can have a fourth player for co-op with my other devices that have it.
My default game loader was defaulted to my kernel, and I set either Pokemon Black or White as my donor rom. I keep getting the message that I can't run the game in DS mode. When I press y on any game it doesn't let me change to DSi mode. I attempted this again after changing the donor rom to load from bootstrap, and again after changing the default loader to bootstrap. I did all of this on a 2DS.
If it helps narrow anything down, when I went to boot it from a DS Lite it tells me I have to have the memory expansion pack inserted to play the game.

The flashcard itself is running in DS mode, which is why the option to run in DSi mode isn't visible. As Slot-2 isn't available on DSi or 3DS, you instead get a message saying that it can't be run in DS mode.

To run the game on 3DS, your only option is to mod your system.

Would it ever be possible?

Also, while it isn't related in anyway, due to nostalgia I have been collecting various consoles in the DS family and have been looking into self-repairing my countless amount of broken ds systems. I have been modding the ones I can and I'm really starting to see what you do for the homebrew community. Thanks for helping what I loved most about my childhood continue to thrive today. Your an absolute legend.
